Good evening,

Work was work tonight, back there first thing in the AM. JP had a fever of 103 tonight, my wife will be staying home with him tomorrow, hopefully it is just a quick thing he has. I cannot stop thinking of Christmas lately, the anticipation is already there for me.

Good night everyone!
hope he feels better real quick!

Well, it's 3:35 am... and I am still awake. Perhaps my two hour nap at 7pm was a poor choice.. Thanks a lot Body!! hahaha However I do have to pick DB Up in 2 hours from work. His first 12 hour night shift... Hope the poor guy is surviving!

Man oh man, the last couple weeks have been busy ones for me.. tons of work (woohoo) but no play hahah. However I did have the time to dye my hair red Unfortunately... the end are a bit darker then the roots, but OH WELL. I like it!

Anyways friends im gunna get to reading!

yeah, I learned the hard way to never take a nap at that time, force myself to stay up.
I have to add life to my hair from time to time too, have tried many different colors, I do like the red!

Good morning, MMC! (part 2)

That was interesting. I shifted to get an exclamation point after my MMC and instead, my just begun post posted. Oh, well, two good mornings can't be all that bad!

It is going to be a nice day here in Mid-Michigan. I had to get up at dawn and move one of the kittens to the "clump of kittens" on the back porch - the poor little guy was so cold he was crying. Some how he ended up a couple of steps down and couldn't get back up to the others. When I put him with the others, he burrowed into the center of the clump. I'm sure he was toasty in a matter of minutes!

Working today - store stuff when I can fit it in and my other job later this morning. I keep yawning, though, so I had best get more coffee in me before I attempt to log in!

Have a MERRY day!!!

:rudolph:

Good Morning MMC!

chocolate cake is in the oven, kitchen cleaned up again.
Going shopping after the cake is done.
First, going to have a cup of tea.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a warm day here with a high of 84 this afternoon. I'm once again getting ready to head out to my sister's house. I'm not sure what time my brother in law gets off today but hopefully it's early because my apartment needs some attention. I also need to spend some time on here getting caught up and checking around for more info on Christmas in July. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah! You need to back off of babysitting because, Christmas in July, needs your attention!!!! :D

Aww... Glad the little kitty is okay now!

This is so true. Today I went into a thrift store where my friend works and bought some Christmas things. She looked at what I was carrying and asked, "Christmas again?" and a lady nearby said something like "There's always some people that will buy that kind of stuff all year."

I thought, yeah why not? I buy lots of stuff early not just Christmas. And I'm not gonna pass up good finds just because we aren't in the right season for them.

But I just replied with "I live for Christmas!"

Great reply!

We are not hurting anyone by loving Christmas all year long. When people get irritated by Christmas they really should turn the news on first then realize Christmas is not so bad after all! :-D

Thanks for adding your information. Are you near Lake Junaluska? I forgot to ask about the number of kids who attend VBS. Christmasstar, Brad, Dawg, you and anyone else whose church has VBS, thanks for any and all info. I even think this is something I could adapt to my classroom this-coming school year. Of course, I can't use the religious curriculum, but the schedule and fast pace would really keep my kids on their toes.
I hope it helps!

BTW, Lake Junaluska is beautiful! We'll be there in a couple weeks to watch the fireworks on the Fourth of July! cheesy

All of these funny graphics are really helping me. This round of chemo is BAD!!! I have some neuropathy in my fingers, and the pain from the Neulasta shot is not any fun whatsoever. BUT, it will get better! Only three more rounds of chemo to do, then surgery, then radiation!
Bless your heart, Cherylle. I hope you get some relief soon. I'm still praying for you!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had our last night of VBS and it was great. It was also the last time our previous pastor would be at our church (except for Homecoming services in the future), so it was tinged with a bit of sorrow. But he's only moving an hour away, so we can still stay in touch easily.

After all that, I had to work on my side business till about 9:30. Boy, it was seriously humid last night. Yuck!

I do think I found a replacement for our water system manager yesterday. This guy would be contracted instead of employed by the city, and he is licensed and will handle EVERYTHING. No more sampling, scheduling, testing, reporting, etc. for me! It'll be a bit more expensive for the city, but the service he provides is worth it to me. Now I just have to convince the council...LOL.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Thursday hello! Tomorrow's Friday, and next week ... vacation! :wiggy:

xmas, I hope JP is better!

CM3, good luck with your training!

:hi:

Afternoon everyone!

Man i am so busy with work today that there just isn't time for anything Christmasy!

Hope you all are having a more relaxing day than me.

Not long until the weekend!

Spirit

Almost forgot ... for our U.S. members, remember to salute our flag today---it's Flag Day!

mgramsey,

Did Sasquatch burn down Robbinsville???

Grrr. Arrrgggh.

:-D

I am glad that VBS was successful. I LOVE Homecoming services--always a time to reconnect with old friends and enjoy good food and fellowship.

I was just reading a book last night that talked about how some people have a superficial trust that lingers until trials come. It is then that you see if your faith holds or cracks under pressure. What wonderful trust and faith you have!!!

This past Sunday our pastor did a sermon about Noah's Ark and the focus was on the rainbow. In other words no matter what happens in your life there is always the rainbow to show that life gets better.

I had told him after the sermon that is so true because someone had just said to me, "2012 has been a bad year for you"! My uncle passed away and Wayne got put in the hospital. I immediately said, "no, I will not adopt that attitude". It WILL be a good year and unfortunately things happen. Don't get me wrong, I am still immensely sad that my uncle is gone and I was worried sick about Wayne while he was in the hospital. Unfortunately, I cannot change the circumstances in my life and must move forward and make the best of it with the family around me. I also have the fondest memories at my uncle's house for Christmas but I love Christmas and so did he so I must look forward to the holiday season on his behalf and I will! Christmas has always been therapy for me during rough times and it has always worked. I am not sure it will work in all situations in my life but I can only hope! I see the rainbow!

Merry Christmas Cheer to all!!!! :???:
