Yes, some from the '60s and '70s that's fun. I want to get some of the more recent quarters and choruses--- the barbershop harmony of today is really impressive. Remind me tomorrow. When I'm at the Mac I can toss a song or two in my Dropbox and post a link. Love that harmony!

Well folks, I am slowly getting caught up on the posts. I am so behind on everything on the computer - emails, Facebook, you name it, that I read a few things here and then go back there.

My sister just brought EA home about an hour ago and we're trying to get her to lay down for the night. It's really late for her to be up - me as well, on my night off. I've only had about 1 1/2 hour of sleep today and I am running on E.

I am going to say goodnight for now, hoping that I can soon head to bed, but I am not sure when it will be.

Good evening friends!
Hope everyone is doing fine!?

Last week we was told that my father-in-law had a brain tumor.
He just turned 65 years old, he is healthy and in good shape
Never been sick a day in his life.
Yesterday we knew it was brain cancer and today he had brain surgery.
Sadly they could not get it all out, so he will be needing Radiation.

Im worried sick about him, my mother-in-law and my husband.
Im praying it will all be fine again!

Oh my.. You never know what tomorrow brings...

So sorry to hear this.....I will be praying xo

I was watching the news earlier and I was shocked to hear them talking about Christmas -- but of course, it was in a negative way! The news reporter was talking about how July really kicks off Christmas shopping season. Then she continued to ramble for minutes about how crazy it is that some people start their shopping this early and that Christmas programs air in July. That was followed by how Christmas is just a retail holiday....blah blah! I am so tired of hearing it. People always try to ruin Christmas for the rest of us!! I say if you want to start shopping...shop!

Non-Christmas folk never get it !!!! :rudolph:

Work is getting better, learning the routines and the paper work. Starting to like it rather than enduring it! LOL
I like that it is fast paced because it makes the time go really fast.

Yup, ME!!! She's a rescue from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay so right now, my parents have her. She's 1 yr and 9 months old, Cairn Terrier (imagine: a white-haired version of 'Toto'), and her name is Missy.


My parents have her right now and the only "problem" is that they have to train her to do her business on the indoor "dog diaper/pad." Other than that she's got "the perfect disposition." She's friendly, affectionate, loves to jump on your lap, loves to cuddle.....I'm going to be in HEAVEN with my "daughter." :wiggy:

Good evening, Christmas family !

One more night and the weekend will be here for me......I will be so glad.

I was SO DISAPPOINTED.......It seems that my company is planning on hiring more transcriptionists so I thought I saw an opportunity to ask about getting off afternoons and on days. I wrote an e-mail to the person in charge, being sure to be nice and polite and actually BEGGED to get off afternoons. I was hopeful cautiously .........Then the answer came. "We don't have radiology on day shift.." This is a LIE. Day shift is when the radiologists are dictating. This company must surely hate me for some reason. I did get a little bit of hopeful news because right after I got that e-mail, I called the company I am trying to get back with and the owner was encouraging. So we will see.

I hope everyone is doing well. I am so tired I don't know where I even am right now !! Take care, Christmas family !! I am SO EXCITED about Christmas in July this weekend on Hallmark !!!

Good evening everyone! We are on vacation this week at my mom's house in Portland,and we are having a great time,it was Jordan's first plane trip and he slept through most of it thank goodness. We are due to come home Sunday and I go back to work on Monday but I wanted to pop in and tell everyone hello and we are halfway through summer! yippee!

A scant, and hardly believable, two days remain until the 2/3 Milestone to the Season!
(And that's the same as the day after tomorrow, Yogi.)

Still more rain yesterday but MUCH lower temps by late afternoon (low 70's!)
I can live with this!
(Of course, the mosquitoe population has risen with the moisture, but such is life in the south.)
We have 69 degrees here, currently.

Before I went to sleep last night I watched an episode of M*A*S*H where Klinger had an imaginary camel. I wonder if his name was Carl? It was the perfect episode for Pines Day!

We went for a walk at the lake yesterday and will probably just take a walk around here today.
