Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! I just got back from hallmark. I didn't buy myself anything but I ended up buying my niece's a smurf ornament. I was kind of disappointed. They didn't have any Christmas music playing and they didn't have any decorations up like they normally do. They did have a whole display of Jim Shore Santa's but I exhibited some self control and didn't buy any. Even though I really wanted too. Especially the train one. When I left hallmark I took my niece's home. Then when I left my sister's house they somehow left with me again. So it looks like another long night.
 
Wayne and I went to Hallmark. Saw quite a few ornaments but can't get them today, it was just nice looking at them!

We went a couple of places looking at bikes. Can't buy one of those yet either. Lol! We saw a few we liked and might invest in getting them soon.

Got the Hallmark channel on right now and enjoying the movies.

Caninemom, I can't wait to see the ornaments you bought!!!

I forgot to mention that our Hallmark didn't have any Christmas music playing either, they never do! I went to one several years ago that did play it but they have shut down.

We might head over to another Hallmark today because they have a full Christmas village set up year round. The other one we go to doesn't have that. I will report back if they have music. cheesy

Ours has a whole room devoted to Dept.56. The center of the room has a Halloween village and the perimeter of the room has a Christmas village set up. I really loved the general store they had. It had Santa in the upper windows and a BB gun in front of a Santa poster in the lower window.

Good evening, fellow Christmas in July lovers! I am sitting here with my family watching the Hallmark Channel and I am loving it!

We have the AC blasting and it's a crappy day out, so I am dreaming that it could snow. Wishing...right?

What is everyone else up to this weekend? I am working all weekend, so I am just going to relax with my family, until have to work again tonight.

We just got back from the other Hallmark. No Christmas music there either but we enjoyed the Christmas and Halloween village!

Made, they had more Jim Shore stuff at this one than they did the other Hallmark!

Wayne and I just got back from our walk at the lake. It was very crowded but a good happy crowd. You get greeted constantly with, "Good Morning" every time we go there. Great people, lots of dogs being walked, people biking, canoeing, roller blading, walking, running, even saw a few on a unicycle. We got a good workout headed home for an early lunch and about to go to Hallmark shortly.

We are seriously considering investing in a couple of bikes to go bike riding to add into our workout routine. Going to go look at some today.

My wife and I were having the same conversation earlier this week.
 
I forgot to mention but Wayne and I did stop at a thrift store today. Every July they have a Christmas in July sale all month, all Christmas merchandise is 50% off. The prices before the sale are reasonable. I bought a Santa, he's dressed as a cowboy on a covered wagon pulled by a horse. It was a $1.50! It's different from the other Santa's I collect.
