Good evening, MMC!

I hope everyone is enjoying Christmas in July festivities! Tomorrow I will play my Christmas DVD(s), no time today as my brother was enjoying the free Western channel. It is starting to cloud up so I am going to take a quick walk before it starts to rain. Not sure how much we are going to get, but we were in line for some precipitation according to the last radar I looked at.

[Holiday]

Wayne and I just got back from our walk at the lake. It was very crowded but a good happy crowd. You get greeted constantly with, "Good Morning" every time we go there. Great people, lots of dogs being walked, people biking, canoeing, roller blading, walking, running, even saw a few on a unicycle. We got a good workout headed home for an early lunch and about to go to Hallmark shortly.

We are seriously considering investing in a couple of bikes to go bike riding to add into our workout routine. Going to go look at some today.

CAH - I think you should do it!!!! We have a pair of bikes at the lake (bike path just a few 100 feet from our trailer) & we love them! Sometimes we ride to breakfast, sometimes (not too often) we ride around the lake (27.5 mile) & sometimes we just ride! LOVE IT!

I've been caught up into the Hallmark channel Christmas in July all evening and then, I was surfing thru the free movies and I saw that TNT had Deck the Halls and A Christmas Carol (Patrick Stewart) that you can watch. So, now you know why I'm still up and chatting away on MMC.

I still have that Christmas buzz going, since I've been watching christmas movies for the past 7 hours.... I need a candy cane:!!

Maybe It's actually a sugar buzz I have from too many candy canes.....:lol:

Kandice will go to be with my brother´s family again until Thursday.........I really don´t understand people that enjoy it when their kids are out for a few days.....lol.....it was okay when she was there two weeks ago....but weird...and I was glad she was back.....but with her kindergarden being off for one more week and me still having to work...this is the best solution for her...so she doesn´t have to get up early every morning.....still....it is very weird .....but it is ok....I guess it is a learning process

Good afternoon Christmas family

Just got back from going with my sister.. It was an amazing afternoon. A lot of the ornaments I want do not come out until October/November. Still, I got quite a few. I will try to post pictures of them !!

Also got my hair done today so it is "red" again !! No more gray for 8 weeks !! It is really warm and humid here today. I hope we get some nice rain and no bad storms !!

In case you missed it yesterday, we passed the 2/3 mark to Christmas Season 2012 and have entered the last of 3 legs of our journey back.

Days to Christmas Day: 163
And if that isn't "wow" enough, just look how close we are to our next Milestone.
It's number TWELVE on our chart.
It's Season day 100.
And it's only three weeks off.
After that, we are down to DOUBLE DIGITS to Christmas Season 2012!
(Now. Is that "wow" enough for you?)

Still so humid you could wring water out of the air.
At least the temps haven't reached the level they were at last week but they are creeping back up.
We stand just over 75 degrees here at this hour in the capital city.

I agree with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't live without my fur children!

I bought new shoes and now my feet feel worse than when I first started my job! I have another pair of runners I am going to try and see how they make my feet feel.

It was sooooooooo busy today at work. Sold over $2000 worth of subs in 6 hours! Everything was behind, the dishes, restocking and cleaning.
When my 6 hours was up I left, wishing the boss would hire a few more people!

Went out for a big late lunch, then came back and helped him write questions for a Laurel & Hardy trivia quiz that he's hosting at a convention late next week.

I liked having a little time away from the kids, maybe a few hours but when they went away overnight I would miss them so much! I am the weirdest parent in the world but I JUST LOVED summer vacations with them!!! I could not wait to spend several months with them and never looked forward to them going back to school. We always had a blast all summer long. I also loved when they got out for Christmas. Most of my friends dreaded their kids being off from school, not me. I guess I'm crazy! I miss those days with them but now I get to do that with my grandkids.

It feels nice out this morning! It will get hot later but right now I am on the porch with the kitties and drinking coffee.

Wayne and I have been walking every day for a couple of weeks and now today he is limping. He pulled a muscle in his leg. Hopefully it's temporary and he will be okay soon. I don't like to walk outside alone but I can jump on my treadmill instead. I just rather be outdoors to walk. I hope his leg heals soon!

Maybe he can drive the car next to me while I walk. :lol:
