I love amazing answers to prayer!!
Got this email this morning....

If you are interested, we have a 2000 Ford Windstar that we were going to give to Teen Challenge, however, if you would like it you can have it. We had a pre-safety done on it last fall and it needs new brakes and some body work underneath. Not sure of the cost of that, Bryan would have a better idea.

The reason we still have it is because our son Jonathan was thinking of using it for his business, but his plans have changed. We did not drive it this past winter or the one prior. Air still worked the last time we used it.

I have a van now!!! my brother will pick it up and do the work it needs.

Good morning, Christmas family

I am sitting here having my coffiee and catching up. Clancy and Wish aer looking out the window while Hermione chews a bone......She is such a funny bug... Her very favorite toys in the whole world are catnip mice or any mice that you buy for kitties !!! She is so funny with them. She throws them in the air, pounces on them, and on and on.....She also tries to give kisses while keeping them in her mouth.....So hard to believe she will be 8 months old in six days !!!

So far so good with Wish....He takes his meds every day and I watch him pretty closely just in case.

Not a lot going on here today. It is going to be very very hot here like other places. I will not be venturing out for much !!!

I haven't caught any of HSN's Christmas in July. I prefer to wait for QVC !!!! I am really excited about it this year !!!

My question was just answered. It's him! They just said the guy that is known for Bethlehem lights but wonder why he is not on QVC anymore?

They replaced him with Chad!!!

Which technically I don't think Chad works for Bethlehem lights. I think he is employed with qvc as a buyer.

He says that he has worked for Bethlehem lights for 10 years but he was presenting toys on qvc a couple of years ago.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, it's been crazy here at work this week. Our production bay pours concrete that's "batched" by a computer-controlled mixer. Monday morning, the mixer's computer refused to boot...it's fried. It's a heavily modified computer that can't be replaced quickly or easily, and everyone was looking to me for the answer. All the other managers were out on vacation...at the same time! I got the system operating manually, but that required a few people who are on their toes, instead of one guy (who's usually reading a magazine at the same time).

Long story short, it took my whole day yesterday, and part of last night, but I'm finally back at my desk.

Campmeeting is still going on, so my family is staying at the campground. I need to post a picture of the huge open-air tabernacle; it's beautiful! Still, I'm not getting much sleep.

We went to go pick up the Yankee Candle that Wayne won. It was preselected so he didn't get to choose. It's the Pumpkin Pie one!!! The two pumpkin fragrances they have are my absolute favorites! Wayne prefers the pine scented ones but he likes this one too.

I have it burning right now with HSN on!

Good morning Christmas friends. We have overcast skies as we begin our day here in northern California. It is probably from the forest fires up in the foothills. It has been unseasonably cool the past few days. We even turned off the whole house fan last night, and it's still too cool to turn it on again right now. Good afternoon, everyone! How are you guys doing today? I am well. Just sitting here, surfing MMC and watching Christmas in July on HSN. What could be better?

I've been soooo hungry for Italian Vegetable Soup lately and I was going to make it today, but then I stepped outside to let Ella out and then changed my mind. No thanks! Even though it's cool in the central air, the hot air outside made me think twice!

What is everyone else up to today? I don't have much to do. I have to start going through the kids clothes for fall at some point, which I should start doing today. I have to take them to store I sell them at, then the rest will go to Goodwill or Salvation Army.
