I loved the parade and the game. Hubby went there a few years ago, and we plan to go within the next few years!!! A once-or-twice-in-a-lifetime trip!!!

Christmas recap: Christmas was great (bus ride to Tampa sucked but whatever) and everyone LOVED their CDs! YAY!! We had an early birthday celebration for moi (my b-day is tomorrow! January 3rd!) Christmas night.

The week between Christmas and New Year's my supervisor was nice enough to let us leave an hour early and on Friday, I got to leave at 3! I was so happy!

On New Year's Eve I cleaned and cleaned and CLEANED! Took down my Christmas cards and decorations. Put away my tree. Took some wet paper towels and cleaned counters and tables and shelves. Cleaned the inside of the toilet and tub. Cleaned the kitchen floor (it needed it!) and refridgerator (still trying to figure out how those stains got there!). Whew! I just like the idea of ushering in a New Year with a clean apartment, ya know?

Anyway, yesterday (New Year's Day) I cleaned some more, organized the jewelry box my sister gave me for Christmas and went to the mall. I ended up buying a small calendar for work, some books, and earring backers that were on sale. Also went to VS but that was because they always have great sales.

Today I've just been uber lazy but I DID watch the Tournament of Roses Parade. (Did anyone else catch the AWESOME Donate Life float?? cheesy) I also worked out a bit to my Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred DVD. Her 30 days = 90 days for me HA!

Tomorrow is my b-day and I plan on using a casual day pass b/c A.) It's my b-day and I do NOT want to dress up and B.) We're getting a wicked cold front and I'd much rather being wearing comfy pants and boots!!

Good morning all! It's awfully early and I woke up early to get to working, but now i feel tired and awful and not like working but i should anyway

The weather over there is really bad. the wind is terrable. it woke me at 4.30am and i could not get back to sleep
The weather man is saying 80 to 100 mile winds. and it feels like that

Man are we getting snow. Looks like a foot has dropped so far. It just keeps on coming! I don't mind it. I cant seem to shake this headache! I have had it since a little after lunch. Maybe this candy cane tea will help! Hope everyone isn't too blue after Christmas. It FLEW by. Well off I go to watch some movies! Have a great evening everyone!

undrtakr i hope your headache goes away quick, fast, & in a hurry!! we're just having a bit of cold weather, it was in the 60's & 70's last week.

hey everyone! well i'm up & got hubby of to work @ 6am & had some time before i must get to work so wanted to wish ya'll a happy new year & tell ya'll of our goals (not resolutions) for this year.
1. get healthy-all of us-the whole family, i think i have 1 son not on board w/ it.
2. QUIT SMOKING-this 1 is just for me.i'm the only smoker in our family, i do not smoke in our home-always outside- i'm tired of coughing & all the ill side effects of smoking, i've just gotta get it together.
3.not sure....heck if we/i can do the 1st 2 that's wonderful.
i'm gonna have to work especially hard on #2. i know i'll be doing alot of praying!

We've got 102 mph winds (slightly better than the 165 mph last time but not much) Again, trees down, bridges and airports and train stations closed, sheds blown over, tiles off roofs. Don't think my windows are built for this kind of thing. The blizzard that is being predicted is due to start any time now but it doesn't look anything like snow right now so that's a bonus.

This is my last day of holiday and I won't be leaving the house. I didn't get my baking done yesterday and there's a programme about William and Kate on just now so I'm not too worried about vacating the premises, but at some point, the dogs are going to have to go out. Hope it's died down enough by then. It doesn't worry me if it's snowing, it's just when you're blown off your feet that I'm not too happy with!

Cold here this morning, where we have started out below freezing and won't get much above that mark all day with the promise of upper teens to 20 tonight.
Typical, I guess, but now that the Christmas Season has passed, I'm ready for Spring!
