Hope everyone is having a great Friday evening so far!

We got pizza for dinner and DH and I will soon be getting the kids to bed. I love weekends off, especially when I can just hang around the house. I am going to curl up with my Nook and read some until we bathe the kids and get them to bed, then I think DH and I are going to watch a movie.

I just started a new thread in chit chat - I know a lot of us like to read. It is called suggest a book and I figured since a lot of use do, whenever you read a book or have read a book before, you could list it there, that way people can try that book. I thought this would be a really great thread to start to so people can get titles for books to read!

I could use a new book suggestion today. I've been off work sick for two days-some sort of bronchitis thing. If I cough much more, I think I will literally 'cough my lungs up'. I hope these meds work soon!

Long day in BC - no new slippers and they were out of the dog food that was on sale. Didn't find much stock for the store, but I did find a book I have been wanting for a few years so the trip wasn't an entire waste of time

One last thing...I have not mentioned this yet because I have tried so many times to stop smoking before and never lasted longer than 4 days...but anywho...I quit on december 5th and I have made it a month!!! I never smoked a day in my life until I hit 30 then It was just at work,but before I knew I was up to a pack a day the last few years and i knew I had to quit before the baby comes,not that i smoked in the house I always without fail went outside to the patio! i hate cig smoke.I thought after a month it would be easier but I guess old habits die hard!!??

Good evening, Christmas family

A busy day today. We decided to go to the grocery store today after my doctor appointment and it is a good thing - My company asked me to work days tomorrow and to cover radiology ! I said yes, of course. Since I am working tomorrow I will not have time to go to the store.

My doctor appointment went fine. After examination,my doc said there is nothing to worry about. I always imagine the very WORST scenario so I am glad to hear all is well. xo

As far as I know Music Choice stops playing Christmas music tonightat midnight. I am sitting here listening to the last of the carols. I can't seem to part with my tree this year at least not yet. So I am leaving it up. Maybe I will take it down next weekend and........maybe not !!

Good afternoon, everyone! I am so glad that it is Friday. The Penguins play tonight, which is something I have been waiting for all week. I get so bored without having my teams to watch! The only downfall is that we're having some company over tonight. Let's just say that our "company" has no clue what goes on in sports and talks endlessly. I don't like to criticize, but that should make for an interesting hockey game. Hockey is such a fast sport that it's frustrating when someone is asking questions every three seconds!

I'm having a lazy day today, even though it's warmer out I don't have any shopping to do or errands to run!

What is icing?, Why did he do that?, He touched the puck with his hand, can he do that? I don't get this game.

I hope you feel better! I am reading Sisters by Danielle Steel (not sure if your a fan of her writing). Its not a Christmas book, but I like it. I hope your medicines kick in soon!
