I am ready to call it a night, too. I have to get up early for my appointment. The doctor is 1.5 hours away, plus we want to stop for breakfast at IHOP. Hubby had to go to the city council meeting to meet with hizzoner, the mayor to present a $2,000 check from the Elks Lodge for the city swimming pool. Hopefully, we can keep it open next year so the kids of our town have a place for the summer. Talk to y'all tomorrow. Hopefully, I will know something!!!

That is so awesome coach! What are you going to do with it?

I was supposed to sub today, but they cancelled the job last minute, and I had turned down other jobs because I thought for sure the job I had wouldnt be cancelled. I really wish schools wouldnt cancel last minute because now I'm not working at all today. I guess I will just read some and relax.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Yesterday afternoon was a little busy, but uneventful. I had to pickup the kids from school, then take my daughter to dance class, then do some work on my business, then pickup my daughter from dance. Run, run, run! I bet I put 100 miles on my truck yesterday, and I didn't even leave the county!

Rainy here today, and still moderate temperatures. But it's supposed to cool off this weekend, down to freezing in the mornings! It'll be nice to have some more seasonal weather. I might even go hunting this weekend!

My poor little Harlowe is still not eating, hubby managed to get her to take a few bites of roast beef, but that's it. Going to call vet today.

Another Pinesday! Looking forward to the fun, but I must get home by midnight. We're supposed to get snow, sleet, and rain after then.

It just occurred to me that we got cheated this year where I live. We had no snow on the ground the entire Christmas season, so we didn't get to see the Christmas lights in the snow. Oh, well, next Christmas season is already on its way!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It is going to be a rainy day here in central Indy with temps in the upper 40's. It looks like winter arrives again tomorrow with falling temps and 1 to 3 inches of snow. Today I have to finish the second part of my video for the contest and then I need to reorganize my chest freezer. I can't get to any of my regular meats with all of these turkeys and hams on top of them. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my cuckoo clock, 75% off I just paid over $7 for it, it was originally $30, so I am psyched. I am in a lot of pain today, I have plantar fasciitis so my foot/heel always hurts, but last night bringing the garbage to the curb, I felt something in my heel "pop," my foot is swollen and it really hurts even when I am sitting down. I don't know if I will be heading to work yet, since I am on my feet all day long. I may take it off to rest my foot I don't know yet though. I will be sitting here for a couple hours.

Good Morning Everyone! Hope everyone is in good spirits today!
Another week that is dragging on, January always seems to go so slow compared to how fast November and December fly by. Not much new for me other than I don't feel too great today, sore throat, voice is about gone and feel like I have a little bit of a minor cold, no big deal really, gives me an excuse to take a day to stay home and catch up on stuff some!

I am so far behind on this thread but I'm working to catch up as much as I can.

good afternoon gang...

i'm still missing christmas :-D so glad 2011 is over as it was an awful year for my family and i, and 2012 has been great so far (touch wood) but i'm missing my tree and all the christmas music and movies.

i usually don't watch christmas movies until 1st november ( i do always watch one or two in july though for christmas in july) but i think i'm going to start watching one whenever i feel like, seems stupid to deprive myself of something that brings me so much happiness?

hope everyone's 2012 has been good to them so far.

Good morning MMC!!!!

What a busy day yesterday was....

Hey Sugar PA is a HUGE state, I wasn't quite sure what area you are in. But, my it sure was beautiful. We went to Jacobsburg Park, the trails are easy, we are in training mode right now. In two weeks we will go back to PA tho the Appalachian Trail - Lehigh Gap. We are staying local this week due to the Football games. We are doing the trails in Montauk, NY we interconncet a few to make it an all day hike. We start out at Camp Hero and work our way through the Paumanok Path. It is wonderful this time of year, we try to see if the Harbor Seals are around too. For some reason when I am out there it reminds me of Christmas Time, like when you see those male Cardinals, and the holy the beauty is second to none, but I say that about most of my hikes!!! I just love being outside, wonders never cease to amaze me.

All this talk of Pennsylvania and New York is taking me back to our trip in October. We traveled through Pennsylvania to get there.

Big thanks to Lauriebear for giving us tips on how to get to the 911 Memorial!!! We would have been SO LOST without her help! New York is confusing!! Ha ha! Central Park was nice too and getting to go to John Lennon's Memorial as well.

I still need to get those pictures posted on here!

I watched A Muppet Christmas Carol last night and this morning I am drinking coffee out of my Christmas mug while my table top tree is lit up. Ahh... Life is good!
