Good morning beautiful people! ♥
I miss Christmas already, and are so looking forward to the new season..
We are planning a new trip to USA this year.
But this year I will have som Christmas, so we are going in the end of November (I think)

Hope everyone is doing fine!!! ♥

Happy Saturday! =)
I am planning a trip accross Canada and the USA, just do not know when I will be able to take it!
Enjoy your trip!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! We are off to a chilly and windy start here in central Indy. The wind should die off though as the day goes on. I have to run to the grocery store this morning and then I'm going to help my neighbor put up a new ceiling fan. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Made we might have sent our chilly weather to you.

I don't know if it's as hot as it seems or if my hotflashes are melting the snow in my neck of the woods, but it is disappearing and just when I see the creek with a trickle of water running along, it snows again. I have visions of kayaking down it and taking pics of the winter world around me at the same time, but I don't have a kayak handy right now and don't think I'll get more than a few yards before it's icy again so I won't be pulling that stunt any time soon. It's plus 1 today and that's pretty nice this time of year.

Too bad about the canal in your neck of the woods Brent. I'm sure we're not finished with the cold just yet.

Hi everyone. Just checking in real quick to say hi. I'm just crawling into bed. Work is so busy and hectic. I worked 13 hours and am so tired. I know I didn't even check in yesterday and I am way behind, so hopefully I will get caught up Monday. That is my day off.

Alrighty, hope you're all having a great day. I am off to dream land!

Hey Peoples!!!

Well, I've broken my New Year resolution to post once a day in here. Just remember that just because you don't see me or hear me doesn't mean I don't care about what's going on in your lives (how arrogant do I sound, like you'll be worried if I care or not!!) But I do care - a lot.

Life has been hectic, to say the least! I was approached by the powers that be in the government Registration service (for those who aren't aware, I am a Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages so I'm the one you come to when/if any of those things happen or you want them to happen (usually in the case of the marriages!!) I also undertake family history research and perform weddings - normal and gay - and citizenship ceremonies......which I always feel is a little ironic - a Canadian bestowing British Citizenship on others!!!!!!) to become an exam setter. Like most occupations with degrees, etc., exams must be taken to obtain these qualifications and I'm now one of the people setting these exams. No pressure then!!!!!!!!!! I'm discovering it's not as easy as it looks on the box!!!!!!!!!! Still, it's a learning curve for me AND them.

Bruce is in the middle of his 2nd teaching placement. He's currently with Grade 4 and last night came home with a bracelet that 2 of the girls made for him. It's kind of like a black watch strap with a "Hello Kitty" charm and a "G" on it (because to them, of course, he's Mr Gilchrist!!!!!) It's SO cute and I think MR Gilchrist was a mixture of really touched and really embarrassed. It doesn't go anywhere like around his wrist but it's the thought that counts, eh ?!!!!!!

Jacob (Border Terrier) has spent every other day this week throwing up. Ever since he had a bad case of gastroenteritis when he was a puppy, he's been prone to a dodgy tummy. Just has to look at the wrong thing and he throws up. Doesn't seem to bother him too much but we keep an eye on him anyway. Cracker (Cairn Terrier) is like a walking mop and is forever on the lookout for small furry creatures to terrorise!!!

Had a funeral to go to last week. It was the 44 year old husband of a friend of mine who dropped dead of a heart attack in a home furnishings store. Pretty horrific.

I'm also doing a spot of stage managing for a one-act competition that our Am-Dram group has entered. The director is the Queen of Delegation and is a firm believer in "Why have a dog and bark yourself"!!!!!!!! Therefore, instead of the title "stage manager" I think I should be rechristened "Gopher" or "Dogsbody"!!!!!

So, this is my life so far. Congratulations to everyone who has achieved something (baby, job, birthday, milestone) Courage to everyone that needs some support (you know who you are) and Cuddles to everyone. Period. Everybody needs a cuddle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget me!!!!
Wow, you are a busy person! Glad you got to drop in for awhile, always nice to catch up.

And to end its hard to write every day on here by the time you work and come home clean. eat sleep you get the picture am sure but just cause your not here every moment that does not mean yu care any else and think we know that
Am the same there is days i dont post but i do tent to just check in to read its hard to be here all the time everyone with a life wood understand that and everyone on here is so understanding and realise that you take care
we all have full lives, drop in when you get time and if all you can say is hi, that is ok.

Random thoughts on other posts:
I love Liam Neeson movies!
Chocolate cupcakes - oh my gosh so yummy!
I need more coffee, too - ok, this is probably a comment on one of Binger's posts cheesy

Good afternoon, MMC!

It sounds as if a blizzard is blowing through here - but there is hardly any snow coming down right now and there isn't much on the ground, either. There is more ice, though - dang!

I woke up at 1:15 this morning to one heck of an allergy attack - took a while for my meds to kick in, but I did end up getting a few more hours of sleep. Quite sleepy at the moment, but lots to do yet today including work. Aw, Mouse just came over and gave me a big hug - suddenly the day is much better!

Stay safe and have a MERRY day!!!!!!

Good morning everyone! it's a beautiful sunny coolish day...this morning it actually got down to 40F which felt so good compared to the usual humid 60's we have been having. Tonight and tomorrow we might actually have frost on the ground with lows around 34F! I may even put a log on the fire and put in a Christmas movie, this winter has been so warm that even 34F sounds cold. This winter will go down in history for everyone I think. Tonight I decided to grill out and just have family night instead of going out on the town. It's been such a hectic week that I just want to stay home.lol Still have not made up my mind about a dog yet but still thinking about it! Talked to my folks this morning and my dad sounds especially good on the phone, very alert and not despressed,so that always makes me feel better when he sounds good. My sister and brother in law that are coming over spring break are coming in 2weeks! Who knew spring break was in mid feb in some school districts but it is southern Cal!!! I always love seeing my nieces and newhews and my sister and bro-in law. They plan on staying for a week and they are driving down to orlando for 3 days which is just a 3 hour drive from me...they are taking thier kids to Disney...so I have that to look forward to as well. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!
weather has been strange here so far this winter too. Someone said it is because it is a leap year. Will have to look that one up to see if it is true or not!

Anyone else having some crazy winds? I walked out onto the front porch to grab the mail and I almost blew away!!

Stuffed cabbage is in the oven! We also had some leftover meat so we rolled it into meatballs and they are in the oven, too. We're taking a little break and then I am going to make some homemade mashed potatoes! I love using the masher on the potatoes -it's the best part.

As I mentioned, then I will either be attempting cupcakes or maybe brownies!

At the end of the school day when the kiddos are lined up at the door, I sing: "Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll love ya tomorrow. It's only a day away!"

You make it easy to care about you.

Speaking of Eleanor Roosevelt ... I'm taking the neighbour whose cat used to have playdates with O'Malley to see Annie the musical tonight on stage right here in my merry city with children as young as 7 years old and up to 14, it's going to be great!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahdBUnVEuYM

The songs are already flooding my musical brain.
