Today has been emotionally exhausting for me - I am going to do a bit of work and take a long nap.

This has been the most entertaining hour and a half of my life.
My brother got off of work early so he called me to meet up with him at a flower shop so that we could make an arrangement for my mom. So we both get there, they say they are open, but they are closed. There is another flower shop a few minutes away, so we go into this little town to find it and we ended up getting lost and driving around in loops and circles all over the place for 45 minutes. We finally find the place and walk inside, and the lady is sitting there at a table just staring at us like we are aliens. In a real snippy tone she goes, "Can I help you?" and we were like, "Yes, we'd like an arrangement made for our mom." And she goes "What do you want??" We were like "Flowers...pink and blue?" and she yells back "I CAN'T HELP YOU NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Like hello, what do you think we want - an order of fries with that? It's a flower shop so I'm pretty sure we want flowers. LOL. Anyways, we ended up going to a grocery store that sells flowers and picked some pretty ones out and made our own arrangement.
Such a funny experience. Mom is on her way home now!

Good evening! Just waiting for my sister to get here and then her, the kids, and I are going to eat dinner. DH is at work and I go in at 11. I didn't sleep to well today (imagine that). I think I am going to start turing the ringer off on the phone in my room if DH is home. At least I wouldn't be able to hear it as much.
Anyway...needless to say, I am pretty tired and already ready for my nap tonight. I try not to be like that, but I can't help it. I've been up since around 2, which I know isn't a long time, but I didn't get to be until 9 or so. Oh well.
Well, off to read some of the countdown until dinner!
