oh iliam i'm sorry your little lily is not recovering as well as hoped. ya' know that's a rather yucky feeling & she looks young so her little tummy is probably doing flips from the anesthesia & what little one doesn't want to move around? bless her heart & bless you for taking such good care of her!

Mistletoe, thank you, Lily is doing much much better today and last night. I think we're over the hill. It definitely makes me want my next dog to be a boy simply because I hear the surgery isn't as invasive. And a very happy pines day to you!:gift:

Not much to report this morning, just waiting for my Dr. appt. I'm a little nervous about what he will tell me, my foot is feeling a little better, but probably not well enough to go back to work. Still waiting on word about my short term disability, I guess it is better than nothing at this point.

Good morning all, happy Pines day. It was a chilly one here in Denver this morning. Have some catching up to do this morning because I was off yesterday with Lily. Good morning, everyone! I slept in a little bit today.

It is snowing a bunch out there. I missed a class on Monday so I have to go today, not looking forward to driving in this.

I thought my mom would be better but she is still in a major fog. Her blood test came back showing that she has a slightly overactive thyroid (which is odd since she had half removed and it would normally be underactive) but there is nothing to be concerned about from the test and nothing that he can do for her. I just wish she'd start feeling better because yesterday she said was her worst day of all.

Well, I have to type a paper and start getting ready. See you all at the Pines!

I was exhausted yesterday when I arrived home from the doctor. It was about 5:45 p.m. My surgery date has been set with pre-op the week before. The pre-op is a week earlier in case I develop any infections between now and then. I have to be infection-free prior to surgery. The surgery will take about five hours, maybe a little longer. The reconstruction will take place pretty much at the same time, well, just a little after the mastectomies. My last day of school for this school year will be February 28. Since this process of chemo and reconstruction will take quite a while, I may have to work until December 2012 after all. Darn it!!! But I need the insurance! I hope everyone has a great day. CAH and SIT, you guys have SO MUCH to be proud of!!! Like I said, I wish your son had been in my class!!!

Glad to hear you have all near enough sorted. at least now you know the path your taking and what it involves your get there !!just think when your ready to put your christmas decor your have all done and dusted with and your be back to your old self and be able to ebjoy christmas and back to work

Just gettting in from work and my errands! About to go take a nap because I got up at 4am. The lawyer told me I will just be driving to the court house in Albany,ga but the judge will be in Atlanta,so we will be doing it via video prompter. I guess it don't matter to me,I just want to get it over with. I just wish I did not have to drive to Albany because it's 2 hours drive but it would be better than driving to Atlanta for sure!! Other than that nothing is going on here. I'm going to take a nap with my dog snowball and put Jordan on my stomach because he is acting ready for a nap too.lol good afternoon all!

Hehe I will try to remember to take some...I will fall flat on my face!!! that reminds me of our real estate agent that we bought our house from...she had just left her hubby of 30 years and was a housewife and had just graduated real estate school and got her lisense..she said if/when we were able to buy the house she was pushing on us she would be so happy she would do a cartwheel...living up to what she said after we signed the paperwork she attempted to do a cartwheel but she was on a downward slope and she fell and broke her arm in 3 places...me and Brandi rushed her to the ER and she still laughs about it when we run into her at in town...I will try not fall though!

back from a kid´s b-day.....was cute and funny...and cant believe that dat girl is already 4 years-old now....crazy....anyhow...Kandice had a ball and so did the other kids of course....eating cake and candy, playing games and later on eatin noodles with bolognese sauce........best thing...her mother....my dear friend is 20 weeks pregnant....so we all pretty exited
