This reminds me of my mom's husband's father. He past away on Boxing Day a few years back. While he laid in his bed, dying of cancer and other things, he told Bruce (my mom's husband) that he just wanted to make it past Christmas Day for the same reason. He was fought until Boxing Day morning.

My pap passed on December 27, when I was 3. He kept asking my father and mother what day it was because he didn't want to die because of Christmas and have that memory for my family. It's it crazy how God can work in mysetrious ways like that!

Forgot to mention that we went out to a nice quiet place for an Italian dinner last night for Valentine's Day. (In fact, we were the only ones in Papa Gino's last night! cheesy ) Seriously, we're so compatible and considerate of each other year-round that Valentine's Day is no different from the rest of the year. I'm very blessed in that way.

Good morning everyone! I got some bad news from my Sister this morning; her step daughter (that lives out of state) broke her arm yesterday, and she might have to have surgery. She's at the orthopedist's right now, and they knocked her out so that they can manipulate the arm and see if they can keep the lateral motion under control while it heals. If not, she'll need to have rods in her arm for 8 months. Which will effectively cancel her baseball and wrestling activities for a good while.

We just had a text message from my sister's step-daughter's Mom; she is having rods put in her arm as I type. She broke both the radius and ulna in the left arm, and the orthopedist's opinion was that rods were unavoidable. She'll have them in for a certain amount of time, then she'll have to have surgery again to remove them. Boo. Looks like it's time for Aunt MerryBells to spoil her step-niece again.

Oh, that's terrible ... yes, she's going to need a little spoiling to cheer her up.

Watching Mash, they are showing a Christmas show. It is the one where they are trying to keep a wounded man alive until after Christmas so his children will not have to remember Christmas as the day their father died. Father Mulcahy
said that "Christmas should be thought of as a day of life"
They are also having a big Christmas party for a local orphanage.

That's quite an episode ... I can't remember if that's the one where they all sing Dona Nobis Pacem.

Sounds like a good time. I love Papa Gino's, their pizza is pretty good, in fact that was my very first job when I was 16/17, I hated working there though.

Okay question:
Has a new season of Survivor on? if so is it still on CBS and what time does it come on,and who is watching this? How far are they into the season,(how many ppl have been banished)? I always try to watch Survivor but I thought it only came on in Sept, I watch Big Brother and even get the Live Feeds on the net,so when it ends in Sept I am burned out and I never can wwatch the whole season of survivor...I don't have specific shows I watch except Big brother in the summer...I want to try to watch Survivor though if I can start at the beginning of a season I think Iwould get hooked on it!

The new season is premiering tonight - you're in luck! It is on CBS at 8 PM EST. I am super excited that you caught my post so you can watch it tonight. I find it so hard to get into a show where they vote people out when I've missed a few weeks. The "twist" this season is that all of the contestants are on one island instead of two and that it is going to be guys vs girls. At least that's what I heard! It is one of my favorite shows so I am looking forward to it.

And I am shocked to hear that someone else watches Big Brother! It is my favorite show and I am a serious addict. I subscribe to the feeds, I watch the After Dark, and I have to know everything that is going on lol. I think I've watched just about every season but the first couple. Who were your favorite contestants this past summer? Mine were Jeff and Jordan.

Just a real ho hum day, quite bored laundry is all caught up. Waiting for everyone to get home from school now.

I've been pretty lazy today myself. I need to go and see if I need to stick any laundry in, then start dinner already 5. Hope you're having a good day!

Is your warranty still good? That should take care of the transmission issue. That sounds like you got quite a lemon there. I am sorry you have had so many issues with it.

That's a shame! I'm sure you've put a lot of money into this car. Do you think you will be looking for a new one soon?

Oh sorry jennifer91III I forgot to answer your question about last summer!!!

I liked Jef and Jordan alot on thier season but last year I loved them alittle less because I liked Shelley and I thought Jordan got mad for the wrong reason and I thought it was just selfish that she thought shelley should play the game for Jeff to win...but on thier season I really liked them when they got together..butit seemd they were a little spoiled on last season...I hated rachel and her BF(I forget his name) but I LOVED porshe I wanted her to win...she was FUNNY on the live feeds but on the aired show they never showed how funny she was.lol

I DID GET CAUGHT UP ON THE POSTS BEFORE I POSTED MYSELF. SO AS NOT TO ENDURE MORE PAIN IN MY HANDS I'M NOT GOING TO REPLY JUST YET.PLEASE UNDERSTAND MY MC FAMILY. I REALLY MISSED YA'LL!
I WILL CHECK BACK IN LATER IN BETWEEN NAPS TODAY. LOVE & HUGS TO EVERYONE OF YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!!!!!!

See you next year, Valloween!! Happy that it was successful for you guys too!! And glad you are staying home & resting today, girl! Hope you are feeling much better!!! :)

Good morning, everyone! Hope you're all well! DH and I had a wonderful date last night. It was nice to be out without the kids. We hadn't been out since right after we had DS, which is 7 months.

I am back to work tonight, for 2 nights, then I am off the weekend. Even though I was off last night, I am so excited to be off the weekend!

DH is at work today, so that means the kids are at daycare too.

I am off to get caught up on the countdown. TTYL!

Your date night sounds perfect, glad you guys had such a wonderful time Sugar!! Enjoy your weekend off!! Any plans?
