Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here in central Indy with a high near 50. It looks like we could see 60 degrees tomorrow. I have some errands to run this morning and then I will be sitting here waiting for the Daytona 500 to start. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Coach- The radar looks terrible right now. It's supposed to get better this afternoon but it' still looking like the earliest it could get started is 6 to 7 pm.

When I drove my son to the kindergarden this morning
suddenly the breaks on the car just did not work!
That was very scary experience..

I've had that happen to me before and it's extremely scary. I'm glad to see that your okay.

I actually took the day off today (not for the race) so if they get it started maybe I will have to tune in and watch it, or at least some of it.

I took the day off today, my wife and I are going to celebrate her birthday a bit late. She has a coupon for Benihana Japanese restaurant that's only good for the month of her birthday, and only during the week. So we are going there for lunch and doing some other stuff today, I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends! We're getting more rain!

Wow, what a weekend!

Friday, I left work early for a doctor's appointment. I hate physicals, but I try to get one every year. After the appointment, I met my brother at the movie theater, and we saw "Chronicle". I loved it!

Saturday, I opened Bernie's store and cooked all day. We had Bernie's 75th birthday bash Saturday night, and we fed almost 300 people. Whew! It was a lot of fun. We had plenty of food, karaoke, fellowship, and my son and I played guitar and sang. It was his first opportunity to play in front of a lot of people, and he ate it up! LOL I think folks would have stayed longer, but it got COLD, and we didn't have any heaters....it was 80° the day before.

Yesterday, we went to my mom's for lunch. Then me, my son and my uncle walked through a field of planted pine trees to verify mom's property line. Her neighbor (A relative) is selling her bordering property, and I was trying to make sure none of our stuff was on the new owner's property. Sure enough, I have to get out and move some stuff. I'm glad we checked, but walking through those briar-infested woods was tough!

Anyway, last night we went to Bernie's house for his family-only get-together for his birthday.

Now I'm beat. Nancy has a bad cough, so she tried some cough syrup Saturday night. It made her mumble in her sleep all night, so I didn't get any sleep. Grrr. Maybe tonight.

When I drove my son to the kindergarden this morning
suddenly the breaks on the car just did not work!
That was very scary experience..

checking my account on line found out that ******* , my phone company, without my authorization took a payment, that was already made last week, out of my account. I never ever at any time gave them permission to take payments directly from my account. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you have to be careful whenever you make a payment online not to accidentally check the, auto draft, box. I have one site that makes it look as if this is a box that must be check before continuing onto the next page. (if that makes sense?) It irritates me because I almost check it every time! I like to make payments at my own pace (on time of course!), not theirs. It just works better for me. I guess that method works for others. I have no idea if that is the case in your situation but I hope it gets sorted out for you! =)

As Snow-in-Texas mentioned, we are going out for my birthday again! I never celebrated it twice in one month. If you have a Benihana restaurant around and sign up for the birthday club online they will give you a gift certificate for 30 bucks! We use it every year. No catch to it at all but it is only just for the birthday recipient, not $30.00 off the total bill. It's a pricey restaurant so it's easy to use the total amount. My family just took me there on my birthday but going again to use the gift certificate. The only problem is, they will know it's my birthday because of the gift certificate so they are going to sing to me! *hides* :roll:

I am so glad Wayne has the day off. We plan to have a very nice day and maybe catch the race on TV if it doesn't rain!

Ugh! I wonder if they activated some sort of automatic opt-in thing on you---some companies do sneaky things like that. Just the same ... how could they have gotten your account number? That is really a scary situation. I really hope the bank will straighten things out for you.

Oh how I've missed you all. Life has just been uncomfortably busy with my boss's departure and some stuff going on with the business. I was trying to hold off until I caught up but I've decided at this point that may be an impossibility and should not be a reason as to why I'm not showing up. I hope you all are doing amazing and I can't wait to catch up with you all.

Another workweek begins ... the radio was saying something about a snowstorm on Wednesday, beginning in the afternoon. I hope the timing is different ... I don't want to be driving in falling snow during the evening rush hour. I'll be keeping an eye on that.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It was frosty this morning when we got up. On Friday our temps were in the 80s. Yesterday, they were in the 60s. Weird weather around these parts.
