Believe it or not, I was going to guess that, but I thought, "No, couldn't be ... it's too soon." I should have thrown my guess in the ring anyway!

Well my niece just got moved into her own room and they are waiting on the day shift neurologist to get there before they do her MRI. She got some sleep in the ER and now her memory is better but she is still really dizzy. The neurologist that was on call last night is about 90% sure that it is some weird kind of migraine. I've never heard of a migraine that doesn't give you a headache but I guess that's what makes it weird.

I don't know a lot about it, but I do remember reading that there are certain types of migraines that don't involve headaches. One type is strictly visual, and I've experienced that several times, but never had a classic migraine headache. I'm sure you'll learn more from the neurologist. Please keep us posted!

Next Saturday (17th) my DH turns 40 years old!
So we two are going to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
I've just made a reservation at Restaurant-Café In de Waag for dinner.
This magnificent historic building was build in 1488, and it looks amazing!

Good morning,

We got home later than we planned last night, but we took the kids out for dinner at the mall, and picked up our new computer. I am not using it yet, I didn't have time to really look at it to do the set up. It's my late day at work today, but I have some more errands to run before I leave. Run, run, run that's all it seems like we do lately. I hope everyone enjoys Pines Day.

Have a great day!

Have you got the new computer up and running yet? If so, do you like it?

GOod morning everyone!! we had a great time at the surprise party last night...just drank a few too many beers....brandi had to drive back because me and james were too intoxicated I guess...I never drink anymore so my tolorance is really pathetic...anyways I have great news to share with everyone here....BUT...I want yall to guess what it is because I think it would be funny if anyone could guess what it is...cause I don't think yall will...brad is excluded becuase he already knows...Anyone??? Anyone????

I didn't even get a chance to guess! :-?

But my guess was going to be that you were expecting triplets this time!!! LOL

Congratulations! My girls are 16 months apart, for the first while it was like having twins, all those diapers. (and we ware talking cloth ones here, so it included washing and folding them!) But it worked out fine, they are best friends now, aside from the occasion disagreement and as long as they never ever live together again! LOL

thank you for the update, will continue to keep her in my prayers.

Christmasstar - I can't thank you enough for the memo pad you sent me as a gift in the gift exchange. It is so wondrous to see that beautiful Christmas tree on the front of it whenever I need to write a list or reminder. Seeing a Christmas tree is very important these days - Thank you so much again !! xo

I am so glad you like it! I figured a Christmas fanatic like you would love something Christmasy to use all year!
:sparkle:

We have had the most wonderfully amazingly beautifully incredible day today! Went all the way up to 18c (65f) Went for a nice long drive in the country which got a few other drivers upset, but I did not care, just wanted to bask in it!

I hope that is all it is. I will continue to pray for her.

Happy Sunday dear Christmas family

My sister called last evening and said that Wes was doing better yesterday afternoon. At first when she had seen him he was just out of surgery and was very shaky and pale but when she saw him later at lunch time he was better. He had eaten lunch and the color was back in his face and seemed a lot better. I have not heard from her today but when I do I will let you know. It can't be good, this whole thing, though, with him just having had AAA surgery just a year ago and now another heart attack. Still, I know there are folks who live through many heart attacks. I am praying that there was no or minimal damage to his heart. That seems to be a determining factor in prognosis.

I am glad he is better, I will continue to pray for him.

Good evening, everyone! How are all of you doing? I occasionally get to read a few pages of posts here and there, but I am going to be really far behind probably until Weds., which is my day off. I truly apologize.

I've just been really busy with work and family. I came from work this morning and threw a chicken and rice soup in the crockpot, then got up and made a chocolate zucchini bread.

I know I've been missing a lot the past couple of days, so just know that anyone who needs prayers or who isn't feeling well, prayers are on the way.

Seawaters: Still praying and thinking of you everyday!

Dawg: Praying for you and your family too still!

Well the MRI showed 4 white spots on my niece's brain but the doctor isn't worried about them "right now" because they are not on the part of the brain that would cause the symptoms she is having. They are now leaning toward some type of seizure. She is still a bit dizzy so they are going to keep her again tonight and send her to a balance therapist tomorrow.

Good evening, MMC!

What a gorgeous day it has been today! I took a mile long walk at lunch and enjoyed the fresh air - it was still rather cool out because the wind was so strong, though.

Tomorrow I go pick Palmer up from the vets. I really miss her - it is empty without her bed (I put it in her crate so that she would have something comforting and familiar with her) and it is quiet without her jingle ball playing. It will be so good to have her back home!

I am very tired so am going to log off the computer. Have a MERRY evening!

I must have missed a post. What was Palmer at the vet for? Was everything ok?

:-P Good news for SeaWaters and my friend Bekki. Her husband snuck away from the hospital today so he could check in on their pets and stopped by to give me a face-to-face update. That was so sweet of him. He wanted me to know that they're just waiting on a bed in our local hospital and she'll come back hopefully for the weekend and soon after is expected to be able to go home. They have quite a flight of stairs though so it might take at least another week. She was up walking around the ICU ward late yesterday and this morning. Her brain surgery was a delicate procedure and the surgeon mentioned that he was concerned initially about temporary paralysis, but she's fine in that regard and today all of her other gadgets were removed and the bandages came off her head. It's only been two days since the surgery. Thanks for keeping Bekki and Steve in your thoughts and prayers - the force worked!!!

:-x Now, let's see what I have in my merry song stash to delight the Shispering Pines fans.

Great news!
