Happy First Day of Spring, everyone! It's getting ready to rain here, but that's OK. I'm sure all the little flowers need it.

Cute siggie!!!

Good evening, Christmas friends!!!

Just hanging out & watching The Note: Taking A Chance On Love. I love this movie!! Genie Francis & Ted McGinley are awesome.

I just wanted to say goodnight & sweet dreams!! Hope you all are well! TTY tomorrow

SIT,
I saw an ad for a "jacket" for pets who have anxiety. It is akin to giving him/her a hug and is called Thundershirt. Not sure if it would work for your furbaby or not. If you decide to give it a try, let us know how it works. It might be worth looking into, expecially for those who live in areas that have horrible thunderstorms and extreme weather.

Lots of rain and wind here in the big D. Flash flooding too. Some places were damaged by high winds, not us thank goodness, haven't heard of any injuries. No tornadoes in Texas that I know of, there were some in Oklahoma, don't think anybody was hurt or anything, so that's good. Somebody got their car stuck in some high water not too far from us near White Rock Lake, they got out alright though. Sounds like the storms are moving away from us now, one of our chihuahuas is scared to death of the thunder, she just keeps pacing around the house, poor thing. It's weird that when she is scared like that, she doesn't want to be around people, she just keeps to herself. Well goodnight all, and have a great Tuesday!

Looky how close we are to being under 200 days to the Season! WOW, I love those numbers!!!

Good Morning, Perfect Pre-'Pines People.

Did you survive Monday intact?
Ready for work week day two?

More importantly, are you ready for this:
Days to the Season: 238
Days to Christmas Day: 280
UNDER a week away now from the 1/4 milestone to Christmas!
(Moving in on Milestone #5 so fast!)

With a nicely warm finish to winter, I cannot wait for today's installment to kick off the first day of Spring.
We alreay stand at 61 degrees and should be comfortably situated in the 70's by this afternoon.
Some more lightning and thunder early this morning, but not as bad as a couple of nights ago.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everybody.
Get yourself all pumped for 'Pines Day tomorrow!

Solice,
I wanted five kiddos, but only had four. When I married Hubby, he said he was my fifth, just an overgrown third grader!!! Your evening sounds like it will be fun; have a great one!

Tuesday... And a rainy one, 5c.

The kids are coming home from school any second now.
All five of them!
I have a very 'slow day'. Don't feel like doing anything.
But I have done some housework and some grocery shopping.

And I have a meeting with my girl's teacher in about two hours.
After that I have to pick up my son from Daycare.
And we are going home to eat Tacos with the rest of the family.

I have a date tonight, with the TV.
The Desperate Housewives and The Big C.
With some Coke Zero, chips and dip!
Right now, I'm looking forward to that! =]

Dinner is over, and Im back in my office having some time for myself.
Playing music, blogs, drinking coffee, photo editing, writing... =]

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is gray and slightly chilly. Not much planned for today, but we have a meeting at the Elks Lodge this evening. I have to run out to Wal-Mart to pick up a book light. I have worn out the one I have now. I hope everyone has a great day. Keep those furbabies safe and cuddled. Oh, CM3, what does it mean when I get poked on Facebook?

Can't wait to watch my shows when I get home...Walking Dead had it's season finale and Dancing with the Stars started tonight!

Storming here in the land of CAH and SIT....lots of rumbling going on....

Long day tomorrow. Heading to bed so I can have a productive day and then spring break starts!

See ya tomorrow night after we land!

Have a safe trip home friend!!!!!

I've seen that, too. It's like a snug jacket that makes them feel more secure.

@made---gosh you had to get up early to go to the airport...I hope you were careful!!!!

I was!!! It's actually kind of nice going that early. You hardly hit any traffic and the airport isn't real busy becuase there are only a few flights that leave before 7am. Of course it would be nice to see the airport in daylight sometime.

Made, they got coffee....but I think they are out of that 1:30 blend.....man, that's early.

About to shower, then head to STARBUCKS!!!!!!

I was the first person in line when the Starbucks at the airport opened at 4:30am yesterday.

...Any day now I'm expecting a Christmas record (vinyl, not a CD) I bought on eBay---it's coming over from London. Looking forward to listening to it and digitizing it so I can load it into my MP3 players.
...And sharing it with the rest of us on MCR?

MerryCarey, my dad has lots of vinyl records. I remember when he started collecting them and kept telling us they will go out one day and bring in something new. I didn't think it would ever happen but of course it did. I have noticed that they are making a comeback! Enjoy your records!

Oldies.com just scored a ton of vintage vinyl! From the wepage:

We recently discovered a HUGE stash of new never-played Vinyl LPs in a warehouse in Eastern Pennsylvania, product left-over from a long defunct record distributor.

We couldn't pass it up! This 92-pallet load took over four tractor-trailers to transport to our warehouse. What a find it was! Over 250,000 LPs, mostly from the 1970s to the 1990s, including many rare & hard-to-find titles we haven't seen in YEARS!

5 years - $96 million dollars. I should have been a quarterback instead of an offensive lineman.

That is awesome RJD! I also agree with you, is MerryCarey going to share? :D

Seawaters, I forgot all about those jackets for nervous dogs. I have seen them before and I should seriously think about getting one for my dog. I rather that than have to put her on medication. It is pure torture for her during the storm. I use to try to stay up with her through the night if it was storming but she won't sit still and just paces all over the house.
