Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good afternoon, MMC friends! How is everyone doing? I am well. DH just left for work for the night, so the kids and I are just hanging out. EA is watching a DVD about farm animals and DS is eating a bottle, about to fall asleep for a nap. He is getting so active these days, crawling everywhere and getting into everything. He's hard to keep up with!

Nothing new to report here. I guess that's good sometimes. I work again tonight, so my MIL is coming down tonight to watch the kids for us. The kids always have a blast with their grandparents, so I am sure they will have a good time.

I really don't have anything planned for tomorrow either, just work tomorrow night, then I will spending time with the kids when I get up. DH has to work again tomorrow night as well.

Well, I am off to check the rest off the boards. Hope you are all enjoying you're weekend with your families and you and your families/furbabies are all well! We're good here! Thank goodness! Talk to you all here later on!

Don't be sorry for laughing. This is very true. I never really looked at it that way. Thanks for putting into perspective for me like that!

i look at a lot of things that way. these 2 of mine they get away with everything. i shout at then . but thats it. i just sometimes think well there will came a day they wont be here and i will wish that i did have them to do silly things..
Same with kids i hear some of my neighours complaining about there kids. i always say what way do you want them ? are they not better like that than maybe in a hospital with tubes coming out of them..(they are not being really bad just kids being kids)
Guess i try to appicate every thing i have as i no a second can change your life for ever

Hope you're all having as nice a Saturday as I am. Mr.'s work hasn't come in yet, so we were able to go out to D'Angelo's for lunch and get a soft-serve at Dairy Queen on the way back. The weather is beautiful, and the temperature is perfect ... I think rain is supposed to move in tomorrow, and we need it very badly. I'm exploring free Amazon Prime videos on the Roku, crocheting a winter hat, and about to grab a cup of tea, or maybe a Coke.

Patience! cheesy I haven't listed it yet ... I'm just mulling over the idea of listing it, and have to figure out a price that (1) would be a good donation to Santa's Sleigh, but (2) wouldn't be too high for folks to consider. If I do list it for sale, I'll be sure to mention it in the Countdown (with photos!).

Yes --- instead of being dipped with a scoop, the ice cream is pumped into the cone from a machine. It's a softer consistency than regular ice cream. I like regular ice cream better, but it's not easy to drive past the Dairy Queen on a warm, sunny day!

I finished crocheting the snowflake afghan last night, but I don't have photos of it to post yet. I'm toying with the idea of offering it for sale in the Merry Marketplace and donating the price (if and when it sells) to MMC's Santa's Sleigh charity. Thoughts? (Offers? cheesy)
