The Avengers was great!! I loved it! That one is definitely going in my video library when it comes out. They showed the trailers for Batman and Prometheus, two more movies I've been anticipating. Oohh, and G.I. Joe, too! Oh yeah, and The Expendables 2...with CHUCK NORRIS!!

Note: Chuck Norris has Thor's hammer in his tool box.

I have seen the new Batman trailer, that movie looks intense! I can't wait to see that one.

Booo! Mine had a Lightning McQueen Pillow Pet for $7 (it was originally $30) last week but I was with the kids and forgot to go back... dumb! It's gone now!

HaHa!!!! Talk about perfect timing. My sister just called and she was headed to Rite Aid before picking up my niece from school. I told her to look for christmas stuff for me and she laughed. So I think that's a no.

Well I'm home from babysitting and boy was that a long day. My youngest niece was just terrible. I even sent her to her room which I never do. I hope she's better tomorrow or I may end up going crazy.

Good evening, Christmas family

Just stopping in to say hello. I have had this whole week off in between jobs and Monday I start back to the old company only this time I have to work 45 hours a week. Not looking forward to that. But.........

I was feeling a little Christmassy for a few moments today !! I was wondering, when does Hobby Lobby start getting their Christmas stuff in ?? I am anxious to see the stuff for 2012.

Made I am so sorry about your little niece's arthritis kicking up again.

Jennifer - I feel so bad for your friend's loss. I have to tell you though your mom sounds WONDERFUL !! She and you sound like you have the same kind of relationship my mom and I had. My mom was a Christmas nut too.

MerryMistletoe - I hope everything will be okay at your house soon. Thank you for your comments on my Hermione. I am very proud of her.

Aution to benefit Santa's Sleigh

:sparkle:I just want to give a special thanks to Merrycarrey, Shellie12 and everyone else that had placed bids in for the Snowflake Afghan. This was a really fun experience and it was for a really good cause. I was lucky enough to win the afghan and as I told MerryCarrey, it will be a gift for my daughter and that we will treasure it for a very long time.

Last year my store started to put the craft stuff out at the beginning of June. Then the actual decor items usually start coming out in July.

This has been the strangest past few days. A friend of mine that graduated with me lost her dad a few days ago. One of my best friends' father died suddenly yesterday. Today, a girl that is a year younger than me lost her dad suddenly as well.

I am hoping that this stops because I can't take hearing anymore bad news! It makes me worried about my own dad since two of the girls are my age. I feel so bad.

#1 I can look at this two ways, it sucks that I finally get some money and now have to spend most of it on a prescriptions....
#2 or I can thank the Lord he provided money so I could pay for a prescription when I needed it.
I pick choice # 2

Have not been feeling well for awhile, nothing major, a cold and then sore ear. It was not going away so went to the clinic. Yes, I have an ear infection.

Can I stay in bed for the whole weekend and get severed meals and hot tea?

bless your heart jennifer91. i too am like that when i hear about someone's loss. it's so hard to comprehend the thought of the ones we love not being here any more. i always try to remember to make each day matter & as i leave anyone i look @ it like it may be the last time i see them so i make sure they know i love them & they're important to me. i know it may sound morbid to some but the nightmare of it for me would me to lose someone & things being left "unsaid". i will continue to pray for your friends & the losses they've had recently.

excellent choice #2. i would have startedw/ #1 & after a little pity party i would have realized #2 was the way to look @ it. yes stay in bed all weekend, i'll get seawaters in the lear jet to bring the tea to you!!
