Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good morning MMC!!!

I know I have not posted in a dogs year, hmmm, is that really a saying??? Or did I just mess up one... HA, HA, HA...

Well, I missed you all so much, it has been just busy!!! I am still working at the New WTC, no longer the Freedom tower, we still call it that from time to time. My boss was on the news when we reached the tallest building height the other week, that was cool. Yup, still working with my families business too. So to say it is CRAZY is an understatement. My free time is spent hiking and camping, I do not even turn on an electronic device. I need the reprieve from it. My Snicker's is doing well had her check-up at the vet, all is good, she even lost some much needed weight, she was 65 lbs, she has a small frame so last year the vet asked me to get her down to 60 -62 lbs and I am happy to day she came it at 62.4 LBS!!! We were all happy, and I didn't cut out her favorite treat which is Bananas she just LOVES them. My health and hubby's is all good, ***knocking on wood*** the kitties and my little budgie are all well too!!! Now, moving right along we are having our April weather in May this year as we had our May weather in April!!! It was sunny and warm all April hardly rained at all, yet here we are in May and it has rained and has been very cool.

Well, phone is starting to ring and work beckons... I will keep ***peeking in*** to see what you are all doing and up to.

Nice to hear from you, I thought of you when they were announcing the WTC building was the tallest in NYC. Hope you can come back often.

Well the good news is my niece is in a better mood today. The bad news is that she hid her allergy medicine because she said it was nasty and didn't want to take it anymore.

I only use Crisco to coat my bundt pans otherwise the cakes stick.

The sun was actually out for a little while this morning ... I'd forgotten how pretty a sunlit day can be. We must have used up our warm, sunny spring days in March, 'cause we haven't been getting them in May. Maybe this weekend.

Good afternoon, MMC!

My kitchen and even my hands smell like onions - ugh! Vidalias were on sale so my brother bought me several pounds and I am slicing and freezing them. I have some of that lemon soap that is supposed to take the smell off of your hands - it doesn't work. Good thing I always have lemons in the house!

staying home all day even when sick is boring! I know I am supposed to be resting, but went out and worked in the garden for awhile.
Planted my parsley seeds, my parsley from past years did not come up this year, no idea why.
Will soon get the rest of my plants and get my gardens looking good again.

My neighbor has done that before but I don't think I could do it.

Well it took a couple of hours and some reverse psychology but I finally found my niece's medicine. It was inside my sister's crockpot in the pantry. My sister swore that she had tore her entire house apart this morning and couldn't find it but I guess shouldn't didn't look there.

the weather was hot yesterday and today...but this evening we had a thunderstorm that brought the colder temps again....at least for a few days..i hope after that....Summer will really hit us.....yay
