I enjoyed a nice lunch with my better half, but overall it's been a lazy Sunday. Weather has been strangely pleasant.

we get full sun at the back from about 11 am until it sets. Cannot be out there most days. I keep a blanket over the window to keep the sun out, put a thermometer behind it and it went up to 120f.

my feet are fine now thanks! I was sitting outside reading for awhile this afternoon. a breeze has picked up making it feel better. Had to come back in when the smokers came out.

Both of us need to buy/make solar ovens to do our cooking in during the summer.

Good evening! Just wanted to stop in and say hi before going to work tonight. Tomorrow is my day off and we are heading to Pittsburgh to camp for the day and overnight, then we're going to go outlet shopping the next. Back to work Tuesday night.

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I'll try to get caught up on the posts tomorrow. I think they have wifi!

Wow! Pretty slow day on MMC today, must be nice weather everywhere. Just watching an 80's classic movie before bed. "Crocodile Dundee" LC is still driving me nuts, he is in his room playing instead of sleeping, he is always on the go from the time he wakes up which is usually 6-6:30am and goes 110mph until he passes out around 7:30-8pm. He is going to be so overtired tomorrow and everyone else will pay for his crankiness.

We got as far as getting the ac to the living room. Then I remembered that I need to get a new piece of plexiglass. Everything is closed tomorrow since it is Victoria day, so it will have to wait until Tuesday.
Oh well, at least we have several fans to use.

But, I hear a book calling me so I think I will answer the call and go and read!

Things have defintely been slow around here this weekend but we are still running about a month ahead of last year. Post 13125 was made on 6-26-2011 last year.

Good Morning.

The new weeks just keep piling up.
Hard to believe we are so near the end of May already.
Official summer is practically upon us, then the fall, and before you know it, Christmas Season 2012 will be here!

And what is piling down?

Days to Christmas Day: 218
Barely over 2 1/2 weeks away now from the 200-day Christmas Window through which we will pass into double 100's territory and an ever accellerating movement towards the holidays.
Gee!

We contine to have outstanding weather with nippy starts to the morning, quickly giving way to the mid 70's and still low humidity with the occasional gentle breeze.
(Ah! Great weather for hammock sleeping after sipping a cold one of iced tea!)

Ok, so call me crazy. But the beginning of June is when I start to really begin thinking of Christmas. We aren't far from Christmas in July, Hobby Lobby will soon put out their decorations, and my wife will begin mentioning Christmas at least every other day. I'm beginning to get excited.

We're in Orlando this week, doing Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I'm trying to get the family out of bed so we can get started. The nearest Starbucks is a block away...too far!!

The tram taking us to the park leaves at 8:50, so I better get started.
