If you can, you need to try Strawberry-rhubarb pie, it is one of our favorites the sweetness of the strawberries and the tartness of the rhubarb make a great combination.
Good morning,
Day off today, I have already started making dinner tonight, Whole chicken (in the crockpot) I made homemade cranberry sauce, just cooling now. I will be making the stuffing and mashed potatoes later. Making the cranberry sauce reminded me of Christmas so I turned on some Christmas music, and turned on the AC, (it is so humid today) and now I am daydreaming about Christmas. I have to go for my Dr appt in a bit.

Good morning, Christmas family
It is cloudy and a bit rainy here today in NE Ohio. Hermione is getting bigger and bigger and is understanding more and more all the time. She will be six months old on the 23rd !!
It looks at this point like my Ipod is going to be okay but I am still being cautious. I checked it this morning. It still had a full charge and came on when I clicked the button. However, it still has some moisture in the screen which I know could still possibly ruin it if that hits anything electric. It is currently nestled in a bag of rice with a silica gel pack in with it. I wish I had a few more of those.
Anyway other than that not much going on.
MerryCarey - I LOVED the movie Rhubarb !! I had forgotten all about it. Isnt Ray Milland in that one ??
X-mas - How is Milo ?? I pray that he will be better.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another cool day here in central Indy with a high of 73 this afternoon. I'm kinda of dragging this morning. I should know that I need more than 4 hours of sleep but it was cool to watch dragon launch this morning. Now I need to go replant my tomato's and green peppers. Then I need to do some cleaning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
Hi everyone! I have had a busy weekend and a busy start to my week. Today I am going to my mom's important doctor's appointment with her, and then we're coming home and we have to catch up on work. I have been so busy playing with my friend's puppy - he is the cutest thing I've ever seen! They have not decided on a name yet. He is two months old and is very, very playful. At first he was extremely shy and tried to hide, but once he warmed up to everyone he started jumping on us and trying to cuddle. He really liked my shoes yesterday, the bright blue must have interested him because he kept tapping on them with his paw and charging at my feet lol!

I forgot to share an experience I had last Friday =)
A little pup ran across the road in front of my truck last Friday morning on my way to work...it was a black & tan chihuahua.
Scared me half to death!
I pulled over & tried to get him to come to me, while keeping him on the side of the road. He finally came over to me when I knelt down & talked to him sweetly. He had a collar w/ faded tags on. His name was Otis. I was late for work at this point, but I knew I'd figure something out, he was more important. I called the first #, and nothing. With the second & last one, a man answered! Thank God. I asked him if he had a little dog named Otis, and he said "yes!". I told him where I was at, and he came to me & got him. That 15 minutes I had w/ him were precious! He curled up w/ me in the truck, comfortable in the AC, and I just kept stroking his head. What a love!! I hope they take better care of him, as the man proceeded to tell me that it wasn't the first time he got out. He said he was a homeless pup, but they found him & adopted him. In the end, he was very appreciative, and I had a good feeling all day long.
Anyways, please keep all animals in your heart & in your prayers!! :smile:

What a nice thing you did! So glad you were able to get Otis back to his owner. Somehow I have cats and dogs showing up at my house a lot. Even had baby birds falling out of nest for me to take care of. I have had to make some phone calls for people to pick up their dogs. My neighbor teases me about me being some kind of magnet to all furry and feathered creatures. =)
Thats a nice story snowflake the wee thing might have got knocked down so maybe you saved his life.. you feel good when you do something nice
i always look out for animals. god seen that and he will sent something good for you you watch !!
See, they know who to come to!! Animals gravitate toward good, kind-hearted people!! It's wonderful all that you do for them, CAH.
I'm just glad I saw Otis, and was able to help. Unfortunately, so many people are in too much of a hurry, or simply are too selfish to care.
Makes me angry, yet sad for them at the same time. Animals are truly a blessing!!

Mine was ok to about a hour ago. i am so cross .
Well here goes my rant .
2 girls which i no a long time both are facebook friends as and shop customers
these 2 were very close friends for a while but fell out
I noticed one of them was not on facebook any more( she had to go of it as the 1st girl was giving her a hard time)
So on facebook i asked the 1st girl was the other one of face book and she said yes and that they had fell out to which i said that had i of known this i wood not have asked and said i was sorry for asking and she seemed ok with that
The 2nd girl was in shop this afternoon and was saying that the 1st girl was ringing her trying to get her to speak and had said that i was on to her looking to be noisy.WHICH i was not i went on to see if girl number 2 was ok. as i wood be pretty close to her more so than the 1st one
Am just so cross it really is hard to keep my mouth shut at this minute as i do feel like contacting the 1st one and ask her why she is saying this. but guess i should no her by now as she cant say a good thing about any one. and i dont want to get the 2nd girl in any trouble.
What beats the whole thing is girl number was in shop this morning and she was so nice and taking away.. i really hate 2 faced people

I'm so sorry this is going on, Shellie. What a difficult situation they've put you in! I can understand why you're so mad. Instead of accepting part of the blame, 1st girl is trying to throw you under the bus to avoid taking responsibilty for her own actions. Or simply just trying to make someone else look bad, whatever reason, it's not cool!! And it's childish.

Hmmm.. how crazy would I be to take a very calm 4-year-old and a little bit nutty not-quite-2-year-old alone to Byer's Choice alone? It's only about 10 minutes from my house and free! I was going to do it today but little guy just got up ... maybe Thursday AM. I will take lots of pics if I go!
