I've been listening to Christmas music all day... It's a great way to help beat the heat....

That's too bad, I have seen some Christmas stuff on the Thomas Kinkade shows since May though. At least we have QVC & HSN.
If that is hot, that is heaven!
I have got them every year since I was a teenager, I think ever since I had heat exhaustion while I was playing high school baseball when I was 15 they have occurred.
He did well, he can handle the heat, his hat was soaked through though but we made sure he had a bottle of Gatorade while marching. I had a water bottle that also works as a mister too keep us cool.
I feel bad for all those people who waited all day for them.

My wife and I are going to a Beatles tribute band concert Saturday night, i forgot all about it until she reminded me today. That should be fun. I am looking forward to Christmas in July, I just need some Christmas soon.

Lost $50 somewhere yesterday....went in my pocket to get it out today and it was gone. Ugh!!!

Awww... You are so sweet, Merry. By the time I read this (which is now at 10:53 p.m.) my husband had picked up his truck 7 hours earlier. Total price tag $1700..........Feeling pretty discouraged. We really could not afford that kind of money for a vehicle repair but what can you do ??

What a day !! There was plenty of non-gooberish dictation to type but in the middle of my third report, my keyboard and mouse both stopped working !! They were a set I got which were wirelss. I tried to get them working and eventually had to switch over to a regular old keyboard and mouse but by that time I had missed a whole hour of work. I tend to get panicky when I am supposed to working and I am not. I called work and let them know what was happening and they were fine with it but I was still panicked. When I finally got back on I think I was going about a million miles an hour to try and catch up. I don't really know why I even switched to a wireless set up. I think I am actually a little faster on the keyboard I went back to today.
There are a couple of rather large hawks hanging around outside in the daytime. If they think they are going to get hold of my Wish, they have another think coming. They'll be an early Thanksigiving dinner if they even try. I love all animals but if they threaten my Furchild, their feathered behinds are MINE. Wish really doesn't go out much anymore anyway and I always go with him when he does. I will be on the look out you can bet on it !! As the saying sort of goes...."Heck has no fury like a caninemom's scorn........" Those birds dont EVEN want to mess with me.
I can't wait til next Friday when I hopefully get my allergy shot. It will be nice to breath again. Much better, it will be nice to LAY DOWN and sleep instead of sitting up all night wheezing....!!!!
Made - Thanks so much for taking time to comment about the truck. It is all fixed now or IT BETTER BE !! Good Grief !! I hope your little niece is doing okay !! How is she feeling now ?
XMas - I still hate that you have headaches but I do feel better if they are not new. You are much too sweet to have stinky old headaches ! xo

Well, arrived at the lake...we watched a movie and now everyone is asleep. Hwever, I had to check on my Christmas family before I

the job is going well even though my body is really having a hard time with it. So much to learn but they tell me I am doing very well.
My first 7 hour shift today, so will see how it goes. I am ready to drop after 5 hours!
