Good evening, Christmas family

What a day !! There was plenty of non-gooberish dictation to type but in the middle of my third report, my keyboard and mouse both stopped working !! They were a set I got which were wirelss. I tried to get them working and eventually had to switch over to a regular old keyboard and mouse but by that time I had missed a whole hour of work. I tend to get panicky when I am supposed to working and I am not. I called work and let them know what was happening and they were fine with it but I was still panicked. When I finally got back on I think I was going about a million miles an hour to try and catch up. I don't really know why I even switched to a wireless set up. I think I am actually a little faster on the keyboard I went back to today.

There are a couple of rather large hawks hanging around outside in the daytime. If they think they are going to get hold of my Wish, they have another think coming. They'll be an early Thanksigiving dinner if they even try. I love all animals but if they threaten my Furchild, their feathered behinds are MINE. Wish really doesn't go out much anymore anyway and I always go with him when he does. I will be on the look out you can bet on it !! As the saying sort of goes...."Heck has no fury like a caninemom's scorn........" Those birds dont EVEN want to mess with me.

I can't wait til next Friday when I hopefully get my allergy shot. It will be nice to breath again. Much better, it will be nice to LAY DOWN and sleep instead of sitting up all night wheezing....!!!!

Made - Thanks so much for taking time to comment about the truck. It is all fixed now or IT BETTER BE !! Good Grief !! I hope your little niece is doing okay !! How is she feeling now ?

XMas - I still hate that you have headaches but I do feel better if they are not new. You are much too sweet to have stinky old headaches ! xo

Those hawks better back off, or a lot of Wish's aunties will be haunting their behinds too! I hate that, I see them flying around the desert areas often, and I tell the bunnies & chipmunks to hide. Adrian thinks I'm crazy- I just laugh & say I know I am, lol =) xo

Texas largest Christmas store is now opened!!! 65,000 square foot building loaded with Christmas goodies! Wayne and I will be going there real soon!!!

Good morning!

Another day staying home because of the heat. I have to keep changing the outdoor fur kids water as their bowls are heating up so fast the water is undrinkable. Poor babies! I have several cats and kittens missing. I hope they are just hiding out in a cool spot - that is usually what they do during days like these.

Poor little ones! Thinking of them, hope they are ok. I'll keep them in my prayers. xo

Right now it is comfortable in the house - the northern and western windows are open and cooler air (less than 86 which is the indoor temperature at the moment) is flowing in. I also found a fan we had used years ago and it is going in the kitchen. I was so happy it still worked! I'm trying to get as much cool air inside as possible before I shut all the windows. I also found a box fan, but it needs major cleaning and I have to unscrew the front and back to get at the inside. Unfortunately, the house gremlin seems to have hidden all the screwdrivers on me

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's rather warm here in central Indy where we stand at 90 degrees at 9am. Only 3 more days of 100 degree weather!!! My plan for today is to do nothing. Well okay maybe not nothing but I'm not going anywhere and I'm not babysitting anyone. I'm thinking an all day marathon of The Santa Clause movies. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

We have the Gaylord Texan hotel here that really does it up for Christmas. Here is their lobby. Wayne and I drove out there last year on the way to the mall but they had something going on that day and the traffic was bad. We decided to skip it. We are not too far away from it so we will probably go this December. We have talked about staying there sometime. You can get a room overlooking the lobby.

I was afriad to even look at the heat index. I just know that I'm not going anywhere until Monday and my air conditioner probably hates me right now.

Ours is going to get worse before better- they're saying 112 for us next week. We set our AC @ 78 degrees, and it constantly runs, lol. Hope you're staying cool, friend!! xo

Well, the first day was spent rafting on the canoe. I'm not as young or as good as I once was, but I gave it heck! With this huge cut on my leg and the bruise on my ribcage from where i landed on a rock, I'm pretty sore. Really sore. Tomorrow we are getting on the lake, so it should be easy......I hope.
