Thanks to all of you that commented on my brother and sister in law sitution. its stil going on my brother is glad now as he is starting to feel free. but the kids want her to come home.(she is in scotland maybe maureen has seen her lol) not home as to my brothers house but to get a house in the town. and all was not to bad for a day or so then she asked for the furniture out of the sons bedroom so its all hit of again.. am listening to it all ways..

Have been really busy all week the shop is taking up a lot of time and the family are taking up the rest. and sleep to if there is any time left. lol
My big bbq is tomorrow night and truth i could be doing without it but it was arranged a good while ago think there is 80 coming so the marquee is going up today and am gonna get the tables and lights and things set up
All my friends are coming thats if i have any left as some of them i have not spoke to in over a week ...

I love Fridays!

Mr (the man of the house) is coming home tonight.
He is visiting his father at the hospital where he is having his
chemo and radiation.
The prognoses for my FIL does not look good. This cancer can't be beaten.
So it will come back over and over again...
My FIL did not want to know the prognoses. He wants to live.
And will do so till end of time.. But we do pray, and hope.
Miracles do happen!!

Mr (the man of the house) is coming home tonight.
He is visiting his father at the hospital where he is having his
chemo and radiation.
The prognoses for my FIL does not look good. This cancer can't be beaten.
So it will come back over and over again...
My FIL did not want to know the prognoses. He wants to live.
And will do so till end of time.. But we do pray, and hope.
Miracles do happen!!

I'll be praying for him too.

Be careful with that, my wife works in the ER lab and general lab of two hospitals and she has come home in the past week, telling me that people are coming into the ER sick and are testing positive for the Flu (believe that one - it's crazy) and there's a nasty little bug (virus) that's floating around as well (so wash those hands).....

Not sure it's the flu. No fever but horrible fatigue and some nausea. (no, I'm not expecting!) lol! I have been teased about my obsessed hand washing. Also because of some people on these forums *cough* Made *cough*, my hands are always in dish water so they should be real clean. :lol:

Thanks to all for the get well wishes! I am still feeling a bit run down but going to make an attempt to get out for a walk and see if I can regain some energy.

I am hoping Wayne and I can make it to the year round Christmas store this weekend. We have not gone yet.

Who wants to go with us??? They have a tea room there, we can meet for lunch!

I have an outlet in my backyard and a window unit you can borrow so come on down! The only wildlife you will see are the stray kitties, squirrels and birds and lots of loud barking dogs up and down our alley. To make it feel real outdoorsy, we have a neighbor about a block over that sometimes comes out and shoots their gun in the air, I'm sure after they had a few too many to drink. Very friendly of them to wake us at 2 am. :lol:

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here with a high of 97 degree's later today. My youngest niece is already here and she is in a mood. Thankfully I only have her for a couple of hours while her parents are at the eye doctor. Then I need to get some laundry done and start packing. I think the plan right now is to head here on Monday for 4 days. We've camped there a lot before when we were in scouts but it use to be a gravel road and an open field. The park is new. While there we are going to hike the Delaney park and Spurgeon hollow loops of the Knobstone Trail. Then we are going to come back home for a few days to cool down and restock before heading further south to camp here. It should be fun if it doesn't get to hot. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

We don't have a tax-free weekend, but we're going out to buy new uniforms for the kids, too. We're heading to Macon instead of Savannah, since the approved uniform store is there. I had a Chik-fil-A sandwich the day before yesterday, too. I can't have fried foods now, but they have a great chicken salad sandwich.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went for a walk this morning, and it was still cool outside from the rain yesterday. It was easy to pretend that fall was near!

I'm going to town to meet my mom for lunch at the local sandwich shop. I hope I can find enough low-cholesterol, low-sodium stuff to make a decent sandwich. Turkey, turkey, and more turkey!
