Just about the most beautiful instrumental version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" I've ever heard.

This takes me back ... where I grew up there was a local FM "beautiful music" station that used to play music like this. Lots of Percy Faith and similar lush-strings orchestras. And at Christmastime, I'd hear music like this. I wouldn't want a steady diet of it, but nothing else works quite so well with a cozy fire (even on DVD) and a mug of hot tea or cocoa. It would be great if there were a way to download a bunch of videos like that and make a DVD.

what?....ok here i go again.....instead of losing any weight i have gained to the point i'm @ my heaviest...EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
really feeling it in every aspect. gotta/must do something. i wish we could just reprogram our wiring to not eat or atleast not much. never exercise like i had planned to. our shop is a fully equipped gym inside & i've not touched any of it. must get the drive & energy needed to do this.

going to back to the doc on monday august 26 to get the cancer spot removed from my leg. i've not been back in the sun since i found out what that spot is. should've been doing that all along. oh would'a, could'a, should'a, alittle late for that now. i'll just be glad when it's done w/, ya' know?

not been in a very good/nice mood today.bit my kids heads off every time i turned around. i kept apologizing & telling them it was me not anything they had done but that doesn't make it ok. i gotta get a grip!!!

It's only natural that you haven't been feeling the greatest. I too am struggling with my weight. I have gained nearly 30 pounds since April which is part of the reason I am having asthma more often.

Don't be too hard on yourself, I have days where I yell at my "kids" a lot. Doesn't mean you don't love them. You are just being human. Praying you feel better soon xoxo

Hello! Soooo glad it's Sunday because I both went to bed (and woke up) feeling lousy with an outragous headache. Still took my Missy-poo out to do her business but other than that, I'm inside in my pajamas.

I decided to go on a site that I haven't been to in YEARS but remembered that it has great seasonal items selling--yes, including Christmas. I've been "online window shopping" and coming up with great gift ideas for the family and ideas on items I might want. Here is the website link:

wonderful party this morning! The kids had fun singing all their songs for the parents. The petting zoo was a hit with lambs, ducks (who were not happy to be there!) rabbits, guinea pigs and funny looking chickens. The slide show of all the kids during the week was enjoyed by all with constant...hey that's me! shouts throughout.
One of my kids gave me a big box of brownies that were topped with Cookie dough and drizzled with chocolate. (so much for loosing 30 obs LOL) I got a card with the address of my one of my kids with the note "in case you ever want to knock on my door!" (love it!)

Now we are now about to leave to pick up my mom and head out to a family celebration BBQ

I have missed a LOT of the Greasy Skillet and feel so guilty. I really do enjoy the patter and the music, and I love having the play list.

I'm not sure if my doc will allow me to listen. But with a name like The Greasy Skillet, it must heart heathy, right? Maybe RJD uses olive oil instead of lard?

Good Sunday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I worked all day at Bernie's store yesterday. I tried to check-in, but something's up with the computer there. I'll have to check it out later.

It's really raining again here. Jacob was able to cut the front yard and back yard yesterday, but the pecan orchard (as I like to call it) is still too wet to cut. It has St. Augustine grass which is really thick, especially when wet.

I just had a turkey on wheat from Subway. Not to shabby!

Good evening! How is everyone? I am well. Just sitting here, relaxing with the kids. Dinner is in the crockpot, I just have a few things to prepare once my sister and her boyfriend get here.

DH and I both work tonight, so she will be watching the kids for us. I did pork, sauerkraut, and hotdogs in the crockpot, then I am going to do red-roasted mashed potatoes and carrots.

Not much going on here. We didn't stay too long at the parade last night. Both of the kids were getting tired and hungry. It was a long parade.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!

Well, off to get caught up on some of the posts. I will probably be doing that tomorrow after getting up from sleeping, so I will be two days or so behind, but know that I am thinking of all of you!

It's a very cute movie. We actually have it on DVD, but whenever they have the movie on Friday nights, she likes to watch whatever it is. It's sort of turned into a ritual for us. It's fun!
