Not sure I caught up but I have to sign off in a few.

I kept my granddaughter last night while my son in law and daughter took my grandsons to the Cowboys game. The stadium is awesome and it was their first time to go there. My grandson's reaction was priceless and he said, "It looks like magic"! That place really does. It impressed me when I went.

I have been watching a lot of Christmas shows lately and enjoying it very much!

Can I vent ? And ask for prayers?

I am going to the doctor tomorrow about a pain in my right leg ... I think it may be because I am all lop sided from carrying Finley on my opposite hip - in fact I had something similar when I lugged Will around ... BUT I am worried its something else... I was reading an article totally unrelated at work .. Talking about children's hospitals ... A d one of those kids had a type of cancer that affects nerve endings ... Anyways one of the songs was an ongoing leg pain

GAH... I can't stop thinking the worse now

I'll keep you in my thoughts

Caninemom, My son had downloaded, Super, to convert files but he said there are other programs out there you can use that would be simple. He said you could do a google search for Super or another one that would work.

That is his suggestion unless someone has another?

Caninemom, I saw a Christmas Tree at Hobby Lobby I want really bad!!! It's lightly flocked with red berries on it and pine cones. I just went on their website and they do have a 40% off coupon and the trees will probably have a 50% sale sometime. Keep us posted if you get one!

Hi Christmasstar, My name is Tammy and I am mostly a lurker here at MMC . I read MMC everyday, actually...multiple times a day but rarely post. Anyway, I saw your post about burning your foot and just wanted to let you know that I am a registered nurse and we use.....don't laugh....Preperation H for burns instead of Silvadene Cream. It works great. If you burn yourself in the future...I hope you don't, but if you do , if you will apply the Prep. H as soon as possible, most of the time, it won't blister up and heals really quickly. It certainly wouldn't hurt to use it now, unless you're allergic to it, but it works best if used immediately. Just wanted to let you know that this is what we did for our patients when I worked at our medical clinic. Of course, if it is a severe burn or gets infected...see your Dr and follow his orders. Hope it heals quickly and doesn't hinder any thoughts of Christmas! Have a great day!!

Thank you Undrtakr, I'm always here...just quietly reading all the wonderful Christmas thoughts from you guys. I Truly adore the Christmas season and unfortunately have no one around here that "gets it" like everyone on here does. I love the countdown everyday but it also makes me sad , because once the season gets here..it is gone so quickly that you hardly know it was ever here I would love it if the Christmas season lasted about 4 or 5 months....and no I don't think I would ever get tired of it

GOOD MERRY MORNING!!!!

I had a Venti (sp) Peppermint Mocha this morning and it was a crisp 59 degrees (but it will get to 88 today - WOW). I know a month since my last post, I have been way busy. We are planning a huge vacation (for me anyway) we are going on a hiking vacation for two weeks, back to Bar Harbor Maine so we can really pull in all the trains at Acadia National Park and no rushing through them, this year we have gone to Sterling Forest as well and Bear Mountain here in New York. This winter we are planning a little skip to the Catskills.

I cannot believe Saturday is the 1st day of the 1st ber month, I remember last years!!! How time flies

Well my Swiss catalog came the other day I have been looking through and I love all the little Halloween stuff, I was bummed my local Wal - Mart didn't have ANYTHING ready for Halloween last weekend I mean it is already the end of August and the nasty lady said why are you rushing it we put it out the week of 9/1 no need to do it sooner... I just smiled and said I was very sorry for her disposition on merriment and happiness and hoped she would find it one day, that got a chuckle out of a few of the other customers, she just gave me the nasty eye look. HA, HA, HA

None-the-Less K-Mart had what I wanted and I went to the Yankee Candle outlet and stocked up on a bunch of last year flavors!!! wooo hooo

Hope you are all doing well and that you enjoy the last weekend of Summer, be well, I must admit I am not sure how much I will go back and catch up so if I miss anything I apologize now...

Good Afternoon, friends~

Only one more day to get through before the weekend is officially here! Yay!!!

I have some excellent news I'd like to share! My husband (Adrian) & I are moving back to the midwest at the beginning of next year.

He is being relocated for his job. His boss wants the charity that he is director of to have more of a centralized home base. He has homes in Nebraska & Wisconsin. And his foundation has released new food products that are being produced in Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. Proceeds of the sales go towards the charity. Adrian will be heading up the marketing of them.

We are very excited, it's a wonderful opportunity for him! And for us! Our families are back there as well =)

Can you say FOUR SEASONS?!?! We'll have snow at Christmas again!

My head is all over the place! Overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, excited! It's all happening very fast. But, it's fabulous news overall! We've wanted to get back for a long time.

We recently sold the house, and are renting until we move this winter. I will be going to Wisconsin to look at homes to rent in November. Adrian's two big charitable golf tournaments are in September & November, and they keep him extremely busy. I'll be doing a lot of the packing & preparing on my own. I'm already tired just thinking @ it, lol.

Plus, I also want to take some online classes during this time. =]

I turned in my resignation last Friday. I gave them four weeks notice.
It was kind of difficult, because I've been with my company for over six years. But, it's time to go... The future is looking bright!

Long day today, worked, did a quick grocery shopping, and mowed the lawn. Tomorrow night we have a Jack & Jill to go to, but I have Saturday off.

The state contacted me today and let me know whats going on at work is not illegal, but in my opinion it may at least be unethical. I will not talk about specifics on a public forum for my own protection, so I am sorry if I am being vague.

So I can now say for a change (a bit early) TGIF

Meceka, I know I have asked before but I guess those kitties never came back? I had an outdoor stray cat that came up missing nearly a year ago and still miss him! We have so many come and go but this little guy was special. I wish I was allowed to bring him in but I rent my home. Reached my pet limit. =(

Made, I hope your neighbors daughter continues to get better without anymore problems.

I left work about 15 min early, it was all I could stand. Limping for the last few hours, even took some pain meds and it did not help. I have to work an 8 hour shift tomorrow so I sure hope it settles down by morning!

Do you think you need to see a doctor? I burned my thumb last year (of all places), on a hot glue gun, and had a large blister on it. I went to Urgent Care & they lanced it twice & prescribed Mupirocin. The pain was pretty bad. Nothing to mess with in case of infection. Good luck to you! Hope it feels better by tomorrow.
