Well a storm is rolling through right now. They were saying 50 mph winds, but I think (hope) the worst of it may have missed us. It got windy for a few minutes, we had a little thunder/lightening but now it's just raining. I have candles lit all over the house, just incase. So cozy....LOVE IT!!! (as long as the storms don't get too bad...they say more to come tonight!)

I found this on Pinterest today. I could just move right into this house/kitchen right now. LOVE IT!!!! Do you know how fun this would be to decorate for Christmas?!?! :grin:

hey y'all!

well i've been to the doc. have a respiratory infection. got my stitches out as well. got a call from the dermatologist office & everything is fine. they did remove it all & i'm good to go. son is gonna pick up my rx's on his way home from class tonight. will miss a few days of work, doc says this is very contagious. my son picked up my cup the other day thinking it was his & drank from it...he feels sinussy now. uhoh.

i go around all the time, when 1 of us is sick, w/ disinfecting wipes & scrub everything down.

i love that it's september. more & more mmcers will be coming back for Christmas shortly.

got the news of 1 of my clients daughter's passing away. boss called & said she came in looking for me. her daughter was just 44 & fell & bumped her head on saturday. sunday the family saw her mouth ( i assume was badly cut or something) & took her to the ER. the mom set her clock for 6a.m. monday morning to check on her & found her dead. this lady has really been through it too. she has bad health herself. her daughter had back issues but was very fit & active. please pray for my Miss Juanita & her family.

then later boss called to tell me of another person who passed. had not seen or heard from him in years but @ 1 time we hung out together. he must have been sick but i didn't even know.

feeling a bit melancholy this evening. ya'll take care & i'll talk atcha later.

Praying for these families and for you!

If there are any "classic" Doctor Who fans out there, I have some news: I just stumbled across a website that says BBC AudioGo has booked Tom Baker to record an audiobook of "A Christmas Carol." I don't know when it's due to be released, but the recording was supposed to take place this summer. I'm looking forward to hearing what he does with it.

UPDATE: The scheduled release date is November 13, 2012. Amazon is accepting pre-orders.

Please, everyone who prays please, please, please pray for my uncle's dog. My uncle considers his two dogs his children. They just found out that his dog has cancer and he is only a few years old.

This is such a sad night - we truly need a miracle. He has been sick for a few weeks and they couldn't find out what was wrong. He won't eat unless someone feeds him and he won't even bark anymore.

good a.m. y'all! i've been gone a couple days. i've been sick & had no energy to do much @ all. i'm getting better w/ the help of antibiotics but now hubby & son have it. this stuff is very contagious. my oldest hasn't gotten it yet. i think his meds, he's on for sarcodosis, has built his immunity up so i certainly hope he doesn't get it.


headed back to work today. i've only worked a few hours all week. hubby & son are going to the doc today so i hope they've gotten there early enough that it won't be so bad on them.
