In honor of the premiere of Xfactor, Carl will be holding a karaoke competition in the piano bar in 10 minutes!!

I posted an answer a bit ago and something came up that I did not post, not sure why that happened, so I deleted it and will try again...

I love karaoke, so funny to listen to all those who think they can sing take the mike and make a joyful noise!

Don't forget, QVC will have a Joy of Christmas show tomorrow from 6 to 8pm eastern.

This cold is really starting to bug me! Trying to find someone to take my shift this evening so I can just concentrate on getting rid of it.

My daughter starts ground school tonight. She is so excited, finally fulfilling her dream of learning to fly.

I've had a few days off work so spent it browsing the net for gift ideas, found a couple of little things I like so I can officially say Christmas shopping has now been started
It was very chilly here this morning and leaves are starting to fall to the ground, fall is on its way

What an interesting Christmas book, xmas! Let us know how you like it.

I will probably wait until it gets a bit closer to Christmas to read it, I am reading two other Christmas books right now: "The Battle For Christmas" by Stephen Nissenbaum, and "The Autobiography of Santa Claus" by Jeff Guinn. The Battle...Xmas is just such an interesting very in depth book of the history of Christmas, and autobiography is so far a fun account of St Nicholas "himself."

the kids are planning a trip to "scarowinds" this friday evening. Carowinds is a big amusement park not far from here & @ halloween they turn it into "scarowinds" w/ some really wild stuff. i just hope daughter can handle it. the boys will watch her but sometimes they enjoy scaring her themselves.

Good Evening!

I haven't been here for some days.
I feel so sick. And are so tired writing about it..

Well I actually was feeling a little better today, I think.
Would like to think anyway...
But now at 9.30 in the evening I feel the fever is coming back.
And I don't want it to!!

Woke up to 3c (37.4F) Brrr....
But the sun was shining - and it was beautiful outside.
Fall is definitely here ♥


Im just so tired all the time.. Tired of beeing sick.
With six kids in the house and The Man at work/travelling all over the world
There is no time for me to be sick. I'll have to move on..

I have to pick him up at the airport in one hour.
And then he'll be home for 3 days before he is gone almost one week!
:roll: Yay, that's my life!


Okey.. I'll put the SMILE back on! =]

Wednesday (Pinesday!) hello! Should be a busy day at the office for me ... a big brochure is headed for my desk. Another cool, sunny morning, and the sun should soon be sneaking across my desk from the skylight.

Carl must be a mind-reader ... I was going to request gingerbread. When the cool fall weather begins, I start thinking about sugar-and-spice things like gingerbread and cinnamon tea.

I love the holidays at Disneyland. We used to live in Anaheim, and Christmas was a magical time. Did not get there during Halloween, but would love to.

Thanks! And I'm happy to be back. I'm so excited for the holiday season. Fall is my favorite time of year just because all of the major holidays are in it. You should have seen my excitement when I saw that the Magic Kingdom at Disney World and Disneyland in Cali were already decorated for Halloween. umpkin:
