good morning y'all! feels a bit cooler outside this morning. now if only it would stay that temp alllll day....oh well, i can dream.

trying to get my youngins up to go to the dermatologist. we have to leave in 45 minutes & nothing yet. bummer.

my sister & b-i-l are coming up today. unfortunately it's for a funeral of my b-i-l's-cousin's-husband. he was only 49 & had just weeks ago learned he had a rare condition that causes hardening of the heart. his name was Wylie. Wylie had a very successful business, a very sweet wife, & 2 beautiful kids. it's a very sad thing that has happened to our community.

my home church has lost 2 of its most faithful members in the last week. the lady was over the childrens division for as long as i can remember. she taught me in childrens church & my kids. precious lady.
the gentleman was 84 & i didn't know him as well personally but i know he was a good man. it hits the church very hard i'm sure.
neither of them is suffering any more. may they rest in peace.

i apologize if this post sounds a bit morbid. in my line of work we are the 2nd to learn of a death so.....

my hubby will be home tonight, yaay. he had to go to Pa. for some type of classes for his job. we are both off tomorrow so we will find something to do together, maybe even some Christmas shopping.hmmmm......

y'all have a good day. now i gotta go be drill sgt. & get these kids up. wish me luck..

Good morning everyone!

I'm "up at and at them" a little earlier than usual. Kind of. I slept in about 15 minutes past my normal time - I forgot to set my alarm, but at least I woke up! I think I needed the extra few minutes. I didn't sleep well two nights ago due to this sore throat. Last night felt like an easy sleep. Hopefully I am recovering.

In regards to weather, it was quite humid this morning. We're currently at 16c (61f) and should reach highs of about 22c/72f (26c/79f with humidex). That's warm! A little warmer than usual, especially since we have currently experienced about 50% colour change in the leaves. It looks quite nice!

Well, we're two days away from the weekend. And, more importantly, 40 Days to the Christmas Season! It seems just like yesterday we were all excited to hit double digits... and now, we're cruising toward a month to the Christmas Season! This not only increases my excitement but it also makes me realize that I must go to the Rideau Centre very soon. As mentioned before, I cherish the excitement of finding the first (often hidden) Christmas displays in stores. I think next week will be a perfect time for that.

Last night was enjoyable. Some friends, Kim and I visited Red Lobster for their Endless Shrimp. It was a great time. All of us have been quite busy over the past month or so and we haven't all been together at the same time. It was a very enjoyable midweek gathering.

Not a whole lot else is new. I've been listening to the Merry Podcasts as of late to prepare myself for the Season... and catch up on some Christmas news, etc. They are quite fun! Great job to all who are involved. Your work is greatly appreciated!

Well, I should return to work. Two more days until the long weekend! Have a great Thursday, everyone!

Thursday hello ... still gray, foggy, chilly, and wet outside, but so what? It's cozy indoors. Got my flu shot this morning, so I'll have an achy arm for a couple of days, but I'd much rather have that than body aches and other miseries for a week!

Buster is doing well - thanks for asking. Of course his eye doesn't look right (it will never look normal again since his lense fell...) but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. He seems happy, he's eating good, he wants to walk, & he thinks any food that is on our cupboard is for him - he has been putting his front paws up on the cupboard & sticking his nose up there to see what he can find. He hasn't done that for a long time!!! He's getting even more SPOILED!!! But he does not like his eye drops. He fights me every time - 3 times a day... unless I can sneak them in while he's sleeping! Hello to Wish! And how is Wish?? Hopefully all is well!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's a cool morning here but we are headed to a high of 80 degree's today. Ugh. At least it's not going to last long. Tomorrow we are looking at a high of 6o and it still looks like a chance of snow flurries on Sunday. I have some running to do today and then I'll be back to try and catch up. On abit of a downer as i lost my phone last night! my own fault, was sat in the car and I thought I had put it back in my bag which was on my lap but think I must of missed and when ive got out of the car its dropped and bounced under the car, Had a rubbery type of case on it so would have easily gone under without me noticing. Mad at myself more than anything, someone had taken it as its been switched off and i drove back down to where I was but it was gone, but called up my provider and they blocked the sim and the phone so no one should be able to get my info off it

Trying not to dwell on it, there are worse things people are going through and a phone is replaceable!!

Going to catch up on the posts, always cheers me up!! Have a great thursday everyone!!! x

Where did this week go? Here we are at Thursday & I haven't been here since Monday. I missed Pines Day... What the heck??? I guess it's been "One of them weeks!" I'm sorry I missed Pines Day, but I'm happy it's Friday Eve!!!

It's supposed to be a beautiful 78º here today...then back to rain tomorrow! Then much cooler temps for Saturday!! We have tickets for the Buckeye/Nebraska football game (GO BUCKS!) so hopefully the weather will be ok! I think they are calling for a low of 42º in Columbus.

everyone is doing fine and the weather here is FINALLY turning abit cooler. ok for us cooler with the highs in the 80's in the daytime and 50's at night! so glad to see it from the 100+ temps of this summer!

81 days till Christmas day WOW!!! I know my house hold is getting excited! I'm really blessed with a family who Loves Christmas as much as I do! and one of our daughters is counting the day until the world largest christmas party here at MMC! they all had fun last year hearing it but She REALLY GOT into it. soooooo I really got to watch my phone this year lol

I feel a lot better, even with lymphedema. That part hurts like you know what. The doctor is recommending I go to a lymphedema clinic before I start radiation. She has also suggested a pain management clinic. We shall see! It is great to see you here. I thought maybe Made had you locked up in the kitchen doing dishes!

I hope the pain management clinic can help you out! Keeping you in my prayers!!!!

Good day everyone! How are you all?! I am well, just glad to be here! I miss you all so much! It just great to be on the actual site and see what is all going on.

What has everyone be up to? I am intersted to see...I know I will NEVER get caught up on the Countdown at this point, but I will try to read the lastest news.

I've been busy in everyday life, but at work. I am tonight, then work all week, plus DH does too. He works his regular job until 4:30 tomorrow afternoon, then he heads right to Pittsburgh, comes from there Saturday afternoon, then goes right back to the fire department to go back to work. He's teaching out in Pittsburgh Friday evening and Saturday all day. Busy, busy, and busy!

Well, I am going to read posts. I hope all is well here and everyone is enjoying counting down to the season. We will be there before we know it. Crazy....
