hey girl! you said real estate classes, are you interested in becoming a real estate agent or just for the move? good luck w/ finding a new insurance. i know it can be difficult.

Yes, in becoming an agent =] I hope I like it! I am very interested in real estate in all aspects, and am obsessed with HGTV. And it's time to try something new. I have a friend back homw who is an agent, and her company's President has helped answer questions via e-mail, and wants me to come talk to him after I've passed the test. Kind of exciting & scary, too!!

Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!

OK I am bring Monkey Bread (it is a desert I promise) and a nice bottle of Pouilly-Fuisse White Burgundy very good with Turkey!!!

Desert is no problem. I'm not a wine drinker though. How about starbucks?

Gotcha covered on the wine. The Lear will stop for anyone who wants a ride.

Made has the coffee & desert covered...

Seawaters, do you want to help me w/ the wine?

c'mon seawaters bring the lear jet!!!!

yeah! We have a party!! Yes, bring Starbucks if you want because I have been banned from most every coffee machine so you do not want me making coffee anyway!

I need more pople, anyone else up for Thanksgiving Canadian style?

Merrymistetoe, I know I'm going to do sausage balls...might make some cookies...

Speaking of Cookies, has anyone ever tried to make these? I found the recipie on-line and it sounds good, different, and definitely not fat free!!!But, it has caught my attention...

Ho-Ho SnowBalls

Ingredients

(2) 6-ounce packages of white chocolate chips
¼ cup of Heavy Cream
(2) Tablespoons Bourbon or additional heavy cream
6-ounce package slivered almonds, very finely ground
1-1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut

Directions

Place chocolate chips and cream in a medium bowl set over a pan of hot (not boiling) water; stir until melted and smooth.
Stir in Bourbon (or additional heavy cream) and almonds.
Spread in a lightly greased 8”x8” pan.

Delsym is a cough syrup. It is honestly the best and no one in my family can live without it! It lets me get a good night sleep. No way!!! Those are my 3 favorites! I hope we get our finale wish come true :]

That sounds like a miracle! Is it something you can get at Walmart or Target? I have never seen it before...I know you live in PA like I do...could it be a regional thing (I'm not sure where in PA you live)?

Sick sick sick with a fever of 100!!

Oh my goodness, I hope you feel better soon!!!

Thanks MerryMistletoe !! ....No it isn't gout..Test came back negative for that. I see my doctor on the 16th and I am going to tell him he has to DO SOMETHING. Thank you for your prayers, they are much needed always but particularly right now xo

I am so sorry you're in so much pain, CM3! I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Made has the coffee & desert covered...

Seawaters, do you want to help me w/ the wine? :hi:

Um, I will help with wine, too! I still have 3 bottles I bought from the Ren Faire, plus hubs and I got a personalized bottle of wine as a wedding present from one of our guests! =)

We are moving ourselves (U-Haul) w/ the help of a really good friend of ours in Vegas. He is taking two weeks off of work & making the move w/ us to Wisconsin. We are so grateful!! But we are concerned about U-Haul having a big enough truck..we shall see! Making a trip there sometime this week. Please keep your fingers crossed!

Oh my goodness, you are moving from Vegas to Wisconsin? What a very different climate change that will be! Hubs and I are excited...we are going to Vegas for the very first time next year for our honeymoon!

Hello everyone!

Hope everyone had a great Thursday and those who are feeling bad are starting to feel better!

I ended up buying a medicine with both a cough suppressant and expectorant in it, and honestly I'm not feeling any different. The coughs still aren't being productive OR subsiding, so I'm really out of luck at this point, I think (unless I find the medicine Jennifer was talking about!). It is very frustrating...I have been sick since last Monday and all I want is to feel normal again. Sigh.

I had a pretty relaxing day...worked more on the shower thank you cards (only 7 to go, yay!) and was able to talk to 2 good friends on the phone today. It's amazing how talking to friends can make you feel better! Both of them are starting new jobs next week, so I'm really hoping some of their luck will rub off on me. I really want (AND NEED!) a job soon. I even put in a seasonal application at Target...while I didn't really want to go back to retail, and especially back to being a cashier, I just need SOMETHING at this point.

I'm not sure if I mentioned here that our wedding photographer has strangely gone MIA since our wedding, and hubs and I are really starting to get nervous about it. We were supposed to have pictures by Wednesday of last week, but she is now not returning calls, texts, or emails. I even tried calling her from hubs's phone, thinking that maybe she was intentionally ignoring my calls, but it went straight to voicemail from his phone too. I won't even go into the crap she put us through on our wedding day (it would literally be the longest post EVER), but if we end up not getting our pictures from her, I will be irate. One of my friends that called today has volunteered to take some replacements pics for us, and our venue has agreed to let us have time to do this. The thing is, Travis won't be able to re-rent his suit, so we are hoping to find something close to it in his closet. Most of the shots we want done are ones of just me completely dressed up (she took NONE the day of...yeah...) but there are some of the both of us that we want done, so hopefully he has something he can wear. It is just such a mess, but I'm so glad we have a friend who is willing to do this for us. Hopefully my friends that did my hair and makeup will be able to help too.

Anyway, I'm going to finish watching Chopped and maybe play a few games of SongPop (anyone else here addicted?!) before bed. Have a good night, everyone!

Lol...yes, we are both from Wisconsin. We've been here for over 10 years, and we miss home & our families.
But, it's been one wild ride!! Such a fun place. Let me know if you have any questions or want some hotel, restaurant, or show reccommendations!! =)

Sorry to hear @ your troubles with your photographer. That has to be very frustrating. I am praying for the best!! Hope there is some sort of explanation...maybe that she had an emergency come up to be out of contact? idk...keeping you in my thoughts. Best of luck to you. xo

The bottom dropped out of my energy about 4 p.m. ... trying to get a few things done around the house, but I'm just draggin'. Wonder if it's from getting the flu shot this morning? Maybe I'm worn out from making antibodies all day

Hoping your feeling a bit better this morning
Over here a lot wood say that it's gives the flu
When my uncle use to get it he was never well or 2weeks
He spent one year in bed on Christmas Day,

Good Morning, Friends.

In steady lock-step, we advance ever relentlessly forward to Christmas.

Now, step over here and gaze upon today's count and marvel at the close proximity of that special event:
Days to the Season: 39
Days to Christmas Day: 81
Day after tomorrow, Guys -- we will find ourselves 90 percent of the way to the end of our journey and into the Home Stretch to the start of Christmas Season 2012!
Fantastico!

Much less rain yesterday than the previous few although a certain dampness lingered.
It is supposed to be dry today and tomorrow which will be good for our pending trip.
I read 61.5 degrees currently on our digital back yard thermometer.

OK!
You have a Fabulous Friday, Folks.
We are off to the coast without worry because I know I'm leaving you in Brent's capable hands.

See you here Monday morning!

Good Friday morning everyone!

Its going to be a cool in the 40's to 50's weekend. Thanksgiving weekend is here. I work on Monday but only for a half day so I can spend the rest with my Family. Oh the colors of the tree across the street. Ill post a picture when I get home. It looks soooo fally...fally...yes. We will go with fally. hah. Not much is new. Van is running like new now. Big thanks to my Brother in Laws Father. Its nice to know that there are still people out there that are not in it just for the money, but to help people that NEED it. Avon magazines have Christmas stuff in it. Hey. I can add some of those pictures to the blossoms thread too! Well back to work I go. Hope everyone has a great day!
