Thinking of you!
I've been around. I just haven't posted much this week. I've had to much else on my mind.

Speaking of Cookies, has anyone ever tried to make these? I found the recipie on-line and it sounds good, different, and definately not fat free!!!But, it has caught my attention...

Well, then, I just have to tell you that I have something in the works for you. I KNOW that you are going to be SO surprised! It will take me a few weeks to finish it up. I bought the materials early this summer and am just now getting around to it. Now begins the anticipation! Don't you see how special you are here at MMC? I also have something for MerryCarey, but hers will be completed after yours. I am trying out a few things and some of you will be my guinea pigs!
Hello everyone!
Hope everyone had a great Thursday and those who are feeling bad are starting to feel better!
I ended up buying a medicine with both a cough suppressant and expectorant in it, and honestly I'm not feeling any different. The coughs still aren't being productive OR subsiding, so I'm really out of luck at this point, I think (unless I find the medicine Jennifer was talking about!). It is very frustrating...I have been sick since last Monday and all I want is to feel normal again. Sigh.
I had a pretty relaxing day...worked more on the shower thank you cards (only 7 to go, yay!) and was able to talk to 2 good friends on the phone today. It's amazing how talking to friends can make you feel better! Both of them are starting new jobs next week, so I'm really hoping some of their luck will rub off on me. I really want (AND NEED!) a job soon. I even put in a seasonal application at Target...while I didn't really want to go back to retail, and especially back to being a cashier, I just need SOMETHING at this point.
I'm not sure if I mentioned here that our wedding photographer has strangely gone MIA since our wedding, and hubs and I are really starting to get nervous about it. We were supposed to have pictures by Wednesday of last week, but she is now not returning calls, texts, or emails. I even tried calling her from hubs's phone, thinking that maybe she was intentionally ignoring my calls, but it went straight to voicemail from his phone too. I won't even go into the crap she put us through on our wedding day (it would literally be the longest post EVER), but if we end up not getting our pictures from her, I will be irate. One of my friends that called today has volunteered to take some replacements pics for us, and our venue has agreed to let us have time to do this. The thing is, Travis won't be able to re-rent his suit, so we are hoping to find something close to it in his closet. Most of the shots we want done are ones of just me completely dressed up (she took NONE the day of...yeah...) but there are some of the both of us that we want done, so hopefully he has something he can wear. It is just such a mess, but I'm so glad we have a friend who is willing to do this for us. Hopefully my friends that did my hair and makeup will be able to help too.
Anyway, I'm going to finish watching Chopped and maybe play a few games of SongPop (anyone else here addicted?!) before bed. Have a good night, everyone!
I uploaded a few more pictures from the StealthCam. They include a few cool shots of a bobcat walking through, and Farmer Brad on a tractor...LOL!

Good Morning, Friends.
In steady lock-step, we advance ever relentlessly forward to Christmas.
Now, step over here and gaze upon today's count and marvel at the close proximity of that special event:
Days to the Season: 39
Days to Christmas Day: 81
Day after tomorrow, Guys -- we will find ourselves 90 percent of the way to the end of our journey and into the Home Stretch to the start of Christmas Season 2012!
Fantastico!
Much less rain yesterday than the previous few although a certain dampness lingered.
It is supposed to be dry today and tomorrow which will be good for our pending trip.
I read 61.5 degrees currently on our digital back yard thermometer.
OK!
You have a Fabulous Friday, Folks.
We are off to the coast without worry because I know I'm leaving you in Brent's capable hands.
See you here Monday morning!
... Oh the colors of the tree across the street. Ill post a picture when I get home. It looks soooo fally...fally...yes. We will go with fally. hah.
Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a cool rainy day here in central Indy with a high near 54 degree's. Quite a change from yesterdays 78 degree high. I'm just hoping that the rain moves out tonight and doesn't stick around for our big fall festival tomorrow. Well it's actually going on today too. So the people with booths are probably hoping that it doesn't rain today also. If the rain does hold off. I may run out there for lunch. Some hot apple cider and a deep fried milky way sounds good. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Friday everyone. We should have a warm day today. It was 48 when I left for work and looking for a high in the low 70s. The forecast is for great fall weather with highs in mid 50s and lows in upper 30s for the next few days. I hope we get a frost.
Homecoming high school football tonight. School gets out at 1:00 with the homecoming parade at 4 and the game at 7:30. Big stuff for a small town.
A group from our church is going to Hiawassee, Ga on Saturday evening to see the Christian singing group Casing Crowns in concert. Should be a great time.
Have a blessed day everyone.
Friday morning hello! Still dragging some, but we're going into a three-day weekend, so I can stand it. Here in the U.S. Monday is Columbus Day, but seeing as how it'll be Thanksgiving in Canada, there's a good excuse to have a turkey dinner sometime during the weekend! As the LOLcats say, "Nom!"
Part of my "tired" is because Mr. hasn't been getting as much sleep as he should, from looking after his dad, and if he doesn't sleep well, neither do I. Wednesday the doctor told MIL that it could be a matter of days ... he's getting "clingy" and afraid to be left alone in a room. Although, when the doctor gave FIL about 3 months, that was 7 or 8 months ago. Mr. is "on duty" for a few hours each on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I'm hoping I can get him to relax some in between.
I'm hoping all of YOU get to relax some this weekend, too.

I love Justin's nutbutters! I started making my own and haven't bought it lately but it is good!
I should do that for Thanksgiving! I totally wore myself out last year trying to cook everything in one day. No one expects me to do all the cooking but I enjoy it. Freezing stuff ahead of time makes sense!
He was busy telling me to wash dishes!
Day after tomorrow?! I'm excited to have the honour to present a Milestone Day to everyone! That makes the anticipation build even more!
And thank you for nod of confidence, Crown. I'm glad I can help out for two days of the year. Have a wonderful weekend on the coast. Safe travels!

No work, no babysitting today. Going to get busy and get caught up on laundry and other stuff around the house.
We are planning to buy Six Flags season passes this year. We use to get them when the kids were little now we are going to enjoy it with the grandchildren. I am looking forward to Holiday in the Park and Fright Fest, it's been a few years since I went to it.
I hope you all have a Merry Weekend!!!
WOW! great pics, Brad. You look quite farmery on that tractor!
