You're welcome. I don't think I have filled in for Crown since the summer of 2010![/QUOTE

Your do a great job. W all know that ;-))

Thanks Shellie! Like I said above, I really can't say much about her without flying off the handle (lol) but I'm hoping there is a reasonable explanation. As for going to the doctor, I would love to, but I have no insurance since I lost my job at Kohl's. I am already in the hole for a doctor visit I had right after I lost my job that I thought would be covered, and we just found out wasn't. Hubs hasn't been able to add me to his yet, and we don't know if we will, since it will be $150 every two weeks for me to be on his insurance. And with me not having a job, we can't afford that. So, self-medicating it is. =(

AM sorry to hear that. $150. Omg. For 2 weeks and I think we are bad over here. How are you now. Any better. Sure hope so ,

Seawaters, the news says Cali gasoline prices have gone up again!:o[/QUOTE

Dont no what yours is but our petrol as we call it is £1.44 a litre. That wood be over 2 dollar,s. and out heating oil for the house is mad, it's now at 77p a litre which wood be like $1.10

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I feel pretty useless, because all I can really do is be there when Mr. needs me; but he tells me that's doing plenty.

Hi. You are not useless just having someone there is enough, listen to your hubby. He,s right ,there is nothing like having someone close when you need them

Well it sounds like my aunt is wore out and now she is going to bring my niece's in to stay the night. So if you don't hear from me the rest of the day don't worry. I'll just be going crazy.

Poor made. Or should I say your poor aunt ? Lol

Thank you, CM3! Although he tries, he cannot climb all the way up the porch steps

hi Medea. What age is bo, glad chez not in pain, is it joint problems he has

I hope you get the computer fixed soon! You can't go too many days without MMC! (I know, I have done it before, not fun!) cheesy

y'all remember me telling you my b-i-l & sister had come up for a funeral right? well they were gonna go back home today but my b-i-l's Mom is dying. they went to the visitation for the funeral last night & got a call while there about his Mother not doing good & to come straight to the hospital. she has Alzheimers & had gotten pneumonia. the doctors have told the family she is too weak to fight it. she will be 90 next month. the doctors & the family have decided to take the IV's out tonight.

gosh it seems like the last while every time i'm on here i have bad news. i'm sorry guys just gotta lot going on around me right now.

hi sorry to hear that

Good evening, Christmas family !! It is raining here. All the furkids are fast asleep. I too am getting ready to call it a night. Tomorrow my sister is coming and we are going to the October Hallmark Ornament Premiere !!!!!!!!!!!! There are quite a few ornaments I really want !! [
HOpe you and sis have a lovely day. ;-))

We did get some very, very bad news about health insurance coveraged on both of us. My husband's Pension provider is cutting me in 2015. That means I will be nearly 60 with a pre-existing condition and no insurance. We also found out that my husband will also have to pay more for his out of his pension. I just really don't know what we will do but as it is not 2015 yet,
I had to post a Christmas one too !!!

Take care. I wish there were something we could do. I hear you about insurance. Mine is $1,653.00 a month. That is a BIG chunk of change coming out of my paycheck. Deductions from my paycheck are more than my take-home pay! I know I grumble about insurance, but I only have a $10 co-pay for office visits; and each prescription is only $5.00. Everything else is 100% paid by insurance.

A lot on here seem to have a lot of problems with insurance seawater s what a amount to be taking each month , am beginning to think we a not to bad over here, we pay about £20 a month if your working and get any medical stuff we need, if your unemployed. Then you get it free. But on the down side there can be a waiting list for operations unless its a emergency and of course you can pay for private health insurance which is quicker. They can charge about £80 a month. Still a lot cheaper than yours I can't believe the price,s you have to pay for insurance. It's Tara

Good morning, Christmas friends. Hubby and I drove to Redding yesterday for doctors' appointments. On the way, I suggested our having a Thanksgiving dinner on Monday. He agreed!!! (Later last evening, I heard him telling a friend of ours that we were celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving.) At one of the doctor's offices, there was an OLD issue of Sunset magazine (November 2011). We decided to try the recipes from it for Monday because we have a set menu for the US Thanksgiving. Anyway, here's our menu (most recipes from the mag!): Brined Turkey (not from the mag, but we know this is good and can't stray from our regular recipe; we bought an eight pounder); Sage Gravy (our regular recipe); Wild Mushroom and Butternut Squash Bread Pudding; Fingerling Potatoes with Bacon Cream; Roasted Cauliflower and Shallots; Cranberry Sauce (store-bought); Homemade Rolls; Chocolate Chunk Pumpkin Cupcakes; and Pouilly-Fuisse White Burgundy (thanks to the recommendation by LaurieBear).

Wood you have room for a Irish lass. Lol am no bother and have good table manners.

I don't even like candy corn, I have seen them but stayed away. cheesy
You get a chance not to like them. What are they ???

I just added our turkey recipe in the Recipe section
under Maple-Brined Turkey.

THat sounds so nice. Gonna check it out. Thanks

Good Morning

Well, the kids woke up too early for a Sunday morning! Church doesn't start until 11:00, so we could have slept in. But, that's alright. I believe today is a milestone day on the countdown! Hope you all have a great Sunday!

There you are! We wondered where you went! :-)

Holy freezeyourbunsoff, it's cold! It's 43 degree outside! Are you kidding me? It's the 7th of October! But hey, there is nothing...nothing like drinking coffee by the fireplace...reading about Christmas.

Today is a cleaning/cooking kinda day. I have a big deadline at work this week, but it's family day and my family comes first.

Have a blessed day!

PS....Binger, I contributed to the shortage of Pumpkin Spice Latte last night....mmmmmm.

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's going to be another busy day.

We go to a small country church. It's so small, we have to share a preacher with another church. Our services are from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, then he has 30 minutes to get to the 11:00 am service at the other church. So we're aleays ruching around on Sunday morning getting ready for church, then we're home by 11.

Anyway, today we're having lunch at church after service, with a 2pm window dedication. A few years ago, we started a remodel that included changing the plain house windows out for stained glass. The windows were very expensive, so each family bought one. Today is the window dedication, and our window will be dedicated to the memory of my Dad. It should be a nice service.

After that, Elizabeth goes to Nutcracker practice while Jacob and I get back on the tractor. The kids are out of school tomorrow, but I have to work.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

ETA: Rub it in, coach. It's 68° here, going to 88°. Grrr.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's chilly here this morning but I love it. I'm just dropping by real quick to say hi. I'm going to head out to Riley Days again to see what I missed yesterday. Hopefully I can find the deep fried candy bar guy. I didn't see him yesterday. I'll be back home before 2pm though because I can't miss the nascar race today. I mean it's Talladega!!!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
