Christmas Countdown - 2012

Hey everyone!

My hubby and I just finished celebrating our 8th wedding annversary. We spent the day together, along with our baby girl. He surprised me a diamond anniversary band. I've been wanting a new one because my original ring scratches the baby. I was so excited! He's such a good man.

We're gearing up for Halloween, stocking up on candy, getting the costumes ready and preparing for fun night of trick or treating with the kiddos. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm getting a cold. I guess it's to be expected this time of year but I sure was hoping to avoid it.

I'm so ready to set up our tree and start decorating! It's about to drive me crazy. I'll most likely get everything set up at the beginning of November because we're trying to plan a trip to Arkansas to see my family (first time in two years) and I want to have it all ready for when we come home. Everyone pray for me, this trip home might be a stressful one. I'm going to say my final goodbyes to my Grandfather and I'm dreading it. It's hard coming to terms with it. But I am glad that he will finally get to meet his new great granddaughter, my little Sadie. My son is excited to see his cousins.

Another sign of the season today---orange-flavored thin mints. They're the Walgreens house brand, though, not the Haviland mints. They only come out during the holiday season. Last year we bought a bunch and froze some---we're almost finished those, so I'm happy to see them on the shelves again!

Mr. ordered me a silly anniversary gift. He knows I'm a fan of Simon's Cat, so he ordered a plush Simon's Cat. So I'm going to surprise him with a DVD set he wants. I was going to save it for Christmas, but he deserves something nice! I'll give it to him when the toy cat arrives.

I am so tired, and I know I won't finish reading all the posts tonight. I wanted to drop in and tell you that Wal-mart employees came to our school today with a meat tray, a veggie tray, and cupcakes for teachers. Then we EACH received a $50 gift card!!! How nice was that??? TTYL

Well I am Ecstatic it is that particular date !!! That is the date 20 years ago this year when........Well you know the story but now it will be the beginning of the Christmas Music Season !!!! Perhaps I will be less sad .......xoxo !!!

It is chilly outside and the fire is dwindling in the fireplace with that nice orange glow of the embers...All the furkids are aslee and all are snoring ! I am heading to bed soon and just wanted to drop in and say goodnight.

Just think Xmas, in less than a month we will be listening to the beginning of the Christmas Season on Music Choice !!! I wonder what date it starts ! ??

I love to hear christmas music on the radio and in the shop. and see the adverts on the tv

So am gonna watch a christmas movie i recorded last week
Twice upon a christmas any of you guys ever see it ?

Cant lay on sofa as usual scooby has it took over. i bet he can snore better that any man. my friends laugh at me scooby gets the sofa and rather than put him down i sit on a chair or the floor.

She is in abit of pain, taking medication and couple that with having a newborn baby and a 2 year old she is exhausted bless her, she got alot of support round her though xx

I had a really nice evening yesterday. I hope you all had a good evening as well!

Luckily the rain finally stopped. It was getting scarry and a lot of people have to deal with flood damage on their houses. My dad drove to my grandparents yesterday and close to their home he had to drive through a flooded street. The water reached the door of the car. Luckily nothing happened to dad and the car.

She's doing okay. The doctor just has her putting neosporin on it for now and is going to check it when my sister goes in on Friday.
