Arranged to go shopping with mum on saturday for some bits for xmas!! I cant wait! get to buy xmas gifts and spend time with mum!!

My absolute favorite scene in the Lemon Drop Kid. Silver Bells was introduced in this movie and they sing it so well. I would give anything to walk through the decorated streets with them as shown in the video!

This movie is one of my dad's favorite movies and I think of him every time I watch it. He knows how much I love it and bought me the DVD years ago.

Sometimes it is when the family sells off the belongings of someone who has passed away and sometimes it is something called a living estate sale where the people are moving and need to eliminate a lot of the items they accumulated over the years. Shellie, you and I would have so much fun going to sales here!

There was also an older version, made in 1934---it wasn't a Christmas story, though. The synopsis sounds like it stuck to the plot of the Damon Runyon story. (The 1951 version had very little to do with the original plot.) Funny thing: William Frawley was in the 1934 version too!

Hey everyone!

My hubby and I just finished celebrating our 8th wedding annversary. We spent the day together, along with our baby girl. He surprised me a diamond anniversary band. I've been wanting a new one because my original ring scratches the baby. I was so excited! He's such a good man.

We're gearing up for Halloween, stocking up on candy, getting the costumes ready and preparing for fun night of trick or treating with the kiddos. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm getting a cold. I guess it's to be expected this time of year but I sure was hoping to avoid it.

I'm so ready to set up our tree and start decorating! It's about to drive me crazy. I'll most likely get everything set up at the beginning of November because we're trying to plan a trip to Arkansas to see my family (first time in two years) and I want to have it all ready for when we come home. Everyone pray for me, this trip home might be a stressful one. I'm going to say my final goodbyes to my Grandfather and I'm dreading it. It's hard coming to terms with it. But I am glad that he will finally get to meet his new great granddaughter, my little Sadie. My son is excited to see his cousins.

Hello everyone! I can't really believe that another week has almost passed. Well, it's weekend soon so I consider the week is almost gone. :] I finished my university this week so my weekend starts tomorrow. :> The weather outside isn't that chilly anymore as it was few days ago. It's now much warmer but I'm still cold at home. I'm lucky my mum bought me woolen socks so I wear them when I go to sleep. At least I don't wake up during night time because of a cold. ^^ Also, I e-mail'ed my favourite blogger tonight. I've been seeking her blog for a long time right now and I found her posts very possitive and inspiring. I sent her a warm e-mail. Actually, I haven't sent any e-mails or letters for a very long time because other stuff like Skype or facebook have taken over the world. Although it's still very nice to get a paper letter or at least an e-mail. :] Although studying is getting more cimplicated and there is always a lot of work to be done, I'm trying to manage my time in the best way and think possitively. I remember I came across a good quote some time ago: 'Everything will be okey in the end. If it's not okey, it's not the end yet.' I ate a half of bar of dark chocolate tonight. Usually I'm under a very strict control about what I eat but I thought 'oh, who cares. Life is too short to keep counting calories all the the time'. ^^ I hope that everyone is enjoying their days! :]

I do peppers every fall, use a mixture of hot and sweet. When they are all good and dry, put them throught the grinder and they make and amazing spice for dips, chili ect.

That sounds great! I have all these sweet and hot peppers in the freezer and I do not know what to do with them all. I would just love to whip up some kind of a salsa for dips and such, I like things spicy.... Do you have or can pass on to me a recipe or a way to make this? Thanks~

Good morning, MMC!

I was woken up early, so I have started getting things sorted out for the day. There is a cookie sheet full of green peppers drying in the oven ~ the scent of peppers is rather strong at the moment. The oven is helping to warm up the house ~ it was 59 when I woke up. Didn't feel too bad to me, but the cats were upset. They have calmed down and are now both sleeping, as is Bo. He climbed up the stairs himself this morning ~ I guess it was too cold for him when he was outside. I'm glad he was able to climb, but I really don't want him doing that without someone by him ~ it is so easy for him to take a tumble and I don't want him to get hurt. I am working from home today ~ going to log in and see if any work was sent for me to do and then I have a lot of stuff to take care of for the store. Found some good deals at a couple of estate sales yesterday and I have to find a place to store three boxes of glassware and Christmas items.

Evening! One more night of work and then I am off for the weekend. So looking toward to it.

I can't remember if I mentioned it of not before, but EA has been taking baton at preschool. Her instructor called me today and said she is doing so well, that she thinks she is ready for parades and performances. I am so proud of her and can't wait!
