Hi everyone!!! Crazy busy last two days, I am still trying to catch up --- ye gads!!!

Now, I normally only watch Hallmark during the Holiday's but I was channel surfing last week and came across a movie Operation Cupcake, how cute, it was a nice movie, not too fluffy so to speak.

You know all this time I have never checked out some of the other sites like Real Thanksgiving, the Halloween one, has anyone here checked them out?

This weekend I am setting my fruit cakes, YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening! How are you all? All is well here. Just sitting by myself and relaxing. The kids are with DH at his parents for the evening - he's going out to Notre Dame two weekends from now, for the Pitt vs. Notre Dame game for 4 days, so they are talking about the trip. I couldn't go up since I work tonight.

How was everyone's day? Mine was good - I had a busy night at work last night. I work tonight yet, then I am off tomorrow - looking forward to it as I always do. I think I am going to wrap some of the kids gifts. I know it's kind of earlier to do it, but the gifts are really pilling up and I need to stack them somewhere, so I think it will be better if they're wrapped.

I'm excited the new podcast is out. I am going to listen to it here shortly and catch up on some posts.

Getting ready to finally get a bite of supper......I am WHIPPED....I couldn't sleep last night probably because my body is adjusting to the new medication. I am planning on having a light supper and hitting the hay SUPER early !!

The doctor says I have psoriatic arthritis. All arthritis is painful and this is not nearly as bad as rheumatoid arthritis or the arthritis that Made's dear little niece has but it IS a very painful condition, I won't lie. There have been plenty of days when my husband had had to help stand up to get moving. I have to see a rheumatologist and my doctor also started me on Cele**rex. I can tell you that within an hour of taking that first dose my pain started to abate and even now 9 hours later it continues to work and I have NO PAIN. I will see the rheumatologist and discuss their recommendations and go from there.


I have been back on Jenny Craig now for about three weeks and I have lost about 7 pounds !!!! I only have 15 more to go !!

Glad to hear that the doctor found out what is going on with you and I am so glad you are getting pain relief. Good luck with your next doctor appt.

We finally got ahold of our wedding photographer on Friday...and I honestly can't say more about her now without going into a cuss-filled rant, which is obviously inappropriate for this forum. Basically she lied to us on more than one occasion, we ended up having to shell out money for something that was supposed to be free, and the pictures we ended up with were, for lack of a better word, crap. We ended up getting almost 1500 total, but when nearly 1200 of them are useless, either because of lighting issues, blurriness, or she cropped them wrong...what we are left with, we can't even make a full wedding album out of. She took (not even lying) over 500 pictures JUST OF MY HAIR GETTING DONE! That would've been fine if she'd've taken that many pictures of everything else! A lot of pictures that we knew she'd taken, we didn't even get on our DVDs, and a lot of the ones that did turn out were of just me getting ready. Hubs and I are both really upset and we have asked all of our friends/family who were at the wedding for ANY pictures they may have of that day as we try to salvage together pictures for an album. Aside from all the lies she fed us, when I asked her about some of the pictures that were missing, she accused me of not being happy with her pictures or services (which she wasn't wrong about, but I hadn't even said anything at that point) and suggested that we "sever our relationship and that we should pay someone else to edit our pictures". I was blown away (read: VERY IRATE) after that and didn't even say anything back to her. If any of you would like the whole story I will be more than willing to tell you, but it's wayyyy too long to just post out here.

I'm so sorry you had to go through all of this. I am glad though you at least did get ahold of her and you were at least able to salvage some of your pictures.

Good morning my Christmassy friends! It has been too long since I have checked in & I've missed you all! Good news is I have finished my SIL's afghan, started a new one lol, pulled off a surprise 60th birthday party for our neighbor, helped my sister cut nylon for scrubbies, put up what is possibly the last batch of tomatoes from the garden, AND I became a great Aunt again! AND we are week closer to Christmas! Wew! What a week it's been. Ha ha! Since starting my Christmas countdown clock on Oct. 1st, time is already going to fast!

Wow! You have been busy! Congrats on becoming an aunt again!

I am burning my Christmas CD's in my computer right now, getting ready to put them in my MP3 player, it is so nice to listen to the songs right now. I am not feeling 100% today, I wish I could afford to call out today, but I will tough it out. I woke up and it was very frosty out, made it feel Christmassy out. Starting to get so excited now!!!

My mom is flying into Ottawa tomorrow. I'm excited to see her! I will have to come into work a few minutes early in order to meet her at my apartment. On Friday we're heading to see Bruce Springsteen at Scotiabank Place. It is going to be a fantastic show! We're both real excited to see the Boss. I don't know of any other plans, but she's only here until late Sunday afternoon, so we will have to cram in a little bit on Saturday.

feeling so festive and also really looking forward to halloween! so many christmassy days out planned, shame they cost so much money, but what can you do? i'm going to try not to stress about it. i can still have a wonderful christmas on a careful budget.

going to cook a lovely roast pork dinner this sunday and stay in all day watching christmas films. i just LOVE this time of year.

i'm gonna be working w/ a strict budget also. i always get so anxious this time of year just thinking about it!

I sure hope you find enough good pictures for your album, that just sucks....

well i got through the pantry & the food cabinets. need lots more baking stuff than i originally thought. i found a crate in the pantry i have for crafty stuff & inside i found a kit for Santa ornaments. when i 1st got the kit i made 1 ornament. i think it's time to do another. there's all color sequins for his hat, face, beard & everything. if i ever figure out how to put pics up i'll show you. undrtakr helped me before but it's been so long i kind of forgot how. i am always in awe @ the pics y'all post on here.
