today...Kandice has her first sick day off school....she has not been feeling well the whole of last week...I will rather keep her home from school for two days now...instead putting her to school and she will be sick for an entire week after that.........the good thing for Kandice.......her teacher is sick too (not so nice for the teacher)....so there will be an substitute teacher...and Kandice won´t miss too much in school

Hope she gets better soon your better keeping her home and in the heat

Good Morning Christmas Gang!

I hope you all fine and had a great weekend.

My weekend was good. On friday I went shopping and found a couple nice things. The rest of the weekend was quiet.

This week will be very stressful because we have our annual company fair on Thursday. There is still a lot to do and prepair for it. Most likely I will be in the office that day to take care of the daily business. In the evening there is also our famous fair party.

At the moment I am not sure if I will go to the party, I am not feeling very well. Guess I will get the flu.

The weather forcast says that we will get snow on the weekend. But until friday it will stay pretty warm around 60f degree and mostly sunny. Don't know what to think of that.

I know it is very warm. The reason is the warm wind which is coming from North Africa. On Thursday or Fryday the wind should stopp and then the temperatur will sink down to 5-4c degree. I don't like such sudden change in weather.

OH NO! the flu is horrible. i sure hope it gets better fast for you!

It was a bit cooler yesterday for the final day of our annual State Fair.
No rain, though, and it was nicely sunny.
Should be warmer today -- perhaps the mid-70's. Quite nice for late October!
I read a chilly 44 degrees here, currently.

hubby just left a bit ago for the airport & he will be back on Friday.

my doc had suggested i go to a person who tests adrenals & hormones. i called him on friday & was suppose to go today. i talked it over w/ hubby. the man did tell me it's not covered by insurance & can be expensive. i have to call him in a bit because i won't be able to do it. i wish insurance covered alternative meds. i guess they have to cut off some where though.


i'm off today & i'm thrilled. i don't seem to enjoy it like i once did. too many chiefs & not enough indians. (i do not want to offend anyone) it seems each person has their own ideas & expect all to do things their way. that's how it is w/ anything i think.
i think i will do some more stuff today that we seem to have put off for a while. i know in the end it is for our Christmas so i don't mind @ all.:???:

9 Weeks to go!! Can't believe it. I am in the middle of my weekly 30 min. of Xmas week on the anniversary of the countdown to the Holiday Season.

It was another busy weekend and it will be an even busier one with my sister's Halloween Wedding coming up on Sat.
I will get to see cousins that I have not seen in years. Should be in for a great time.

By this time next week, Nov will be knocking at the door!!
Xmas Season is almost here.

Good Morning MMC!

Off to the airport in an hour, my daughter is having her first lesson in the plane. She is so nervous, this is something she has wanted to do since she was 15 years old.

I have roses and calla lilies to make for a cake this coming weekend. 25th anniversary, 3 tier cake. Will post a picture when it is done.

Now to finish in the kitchen so when I get back I can get busy with all my cake stuff.

My stomach was bothering me yesterday and last night and now it's bothering me today. This is not good!!! I go away in a couple of days so I cannot afford to be sick or having any kind of stomach problems.

Plenty to do this morning and afternoon - but I do hope to be on tonight. I am in desperate need of catching up!

Goooooooooooood Morning! Hope this finds everybody being lazy or getting ready for church! Either way....have fun.

Last night was wonderful. We just went and looked around. I went in to Hobby Lobby and started to take some pictures and my phone died. DARN! I dropped it in the dogs water in Feb. and the battery has been awful since. However, a dead phone didn't mess up my night...it actually enhanced it. There was no way for anyone to get ahold of me...so there was no interruptions....just good ol family fun. There will be more of that coming up in the next two and a half months.

Today=work, football, and some cooking....gonna be another good day!

One time I was videoing one of the dance productions when the camera battery died. I have to say; it was nice just to be able to watch and enjoy Elizabeth dancing without making sure I hit the right zoom button, etc.

I hope everyone feels better soon!!!

FIL passed away this afternoon; we got the news just a few minutes ago. Mr. is on his way down there now before the mortician arrives. Mr. and his family all had some quality time with him toward the end, playing his favorite music on the iPad and holding his hand. Yesterday he could barely speak, but he managed to say, "Tough old man." He certainly was. God rest his soul. Thank you all for your prayers during his long final illness.

Bless his heart. Keeping you all in my thoughts & prayers.

I am nervous for her! I just get nervous flying but to be the pilot??? No way! lol.. She can now fly the lear jet when Seawaters needs a break.
