I am totally getting a BAD case of CHRISTMAS BRAIN as our dear friend Merry Noel says !! I am watching the Hallmark channel right now and there is a preview of the upcoming Christmas movies on NEXT FRIDAY !!! Yay !!!!!

I am also really excited because I have followed all the "Good Witch" movies on Hallmark and now there is a new one tomorrow night !!

It is really cold here. I have a fire going and I am watching the original "The Good Witch's Garden.


Praying for all who are in the path of this horrible storm. xo

I got an e-mail from my company today as apparently their headquarters is right in the path of the storm as they are in Rockville, Maryland. They are keeping their fingers crossed just like everyone else.

Wow ... Years ago I worked near Rockville, in Gaithersburg. The borderline was in the road. The buildings across the street were in Rockville. I'm worried about Maryland, too. I have family in Frederick County.

Please pray for my mom I am at hospital with her, she may have had a mini stroke. She collapsed at home just over an hour ago. Had a bunch of tests done just waiting for doctor to come.

Keeping all of you in our thoughts.

My 87 year old grandpa was in a car accident tonight. Someone ran a stop sign and plowed right into him. His whole car is totaled and all of the airbags deployed. I still cannot get over this happening. I am relieved to say that he walked away with no injuries aside from soreness from wearing his seat belt and the airbags.

hey y'all! so glad it's friday. don't think i could take much more @ the shop.

hubby comes home today & i'm so excited!

daughter has a big test today she's been worried about. hope she does well on it.

my son Seth started a few new classes this 8 weeks. golf & basketball you would think are easy & they are it's just he's very stiff after playing almost 3 hours of b-ball the 1st day. i told him he's out of shape from high school. now he believes me, lol.

Will has had a cough for about 1 month now. it scares me because that was the 1st sign of his illness in the beginning. he said this is a dry cough, unlike before, & he thinks it's allergies. i sure hope so. he has an appt. w/ his doc the 1st part of december but i told him he may have to call & get it moved closer.

my body is screaming...can ya' hear it? hehehe just tired.

how's everyone? got any plans this weekend? we are going to my aunt & uncle's tomorrow for a cook out. we always have the best time there. lots of family come & friends, it's great!

Good Morning, Weekend Wonders!

Speaking of wonders, will they never cease?
Just look at this:
Days to the Season: 17 (Now UNDER 2 1/2 weeks remain!)
Days to Christmas Day: 59 (Below 8 1/2 weeks, now!)
Days to Halloween: 4 (Why, that's barely over HALF a week off!)
[This year is just racing by too fast, don't you think?]

Pretty nice here still yesterday, but today is supposed to be cooler, then downright COLD by Tuesday, with
lows in the 30's.
BRRRRR!
We stand at 64 degrees here currently and are not predicted to get much if any warmer all day.

For once we may get it worse than you this time, since we're closer to the coast. I'm nervous about being without power and heat for days. On my suggestion, we went out and got a camp lantern and some warm sleeping bags just in case. We got some bottled water and nonperishable food items yesterday. Either I'm paranoid or ahead of the curve. We'll know which soon enough.

Better safe than sorry, Merry! Have you made any extra preparations should Cat appear on your porch ~ I am worried about your wandering friend. I am keeping all of you in my prayers!
