Christmas Countdown - 2012

I'm also concerned about going to work tomorrow and getting stranded. The governor is having a press conference at 4:30. I hope maybe our bosses will send out an email after that allowing us to work from home tomorrow. Most of our clients are here in the East, so they have the storm to worry about, too.

I hope all will be well for your Merry !! As I have mentioned, my employer is on the East Coast too ! xo

Good afternoon!!! I'm feeling really Christmassy right now!! I'm listening to Christmas music & getting ready to head to my sisters for a walk, then supper, then........
IT'S CHRSTMAS/ladies night at the hardware store (6:00-8:30)!!! Oh how I love this night!!!! :dance:

Well, we are (almost) all closed up at the lake. I cleaned everything up & brought stuff home. Such a sad day. Thankfully I have the Christmas open house to look forward too tonight!!! And in 2 weeks the lake neighbor ladies are getting together for a holiday open house in a town 50 minutes south of here. Looking forward to that too!

A tiny little kitty found its way to our trailer after everyone else had left today. This is not the 1st time a kitty shows up on the last day at the lake! Weird. But this time it picked our trailer. I gave it a couple pieces of cheese, & crackers. It came into our trailer, almost fell asleep. Oh I wanted to take it home so bad, but my hubby would have a fit. I put a towel outside in a corner for it & I left 1/2 of a hot dog bun. If it's still there later I'll think of something. I sent out texts to see if anyone knew of anybody wanting a kitty. It was so sweet. Broke my heart!!! I will keep an extra close watch on it with the bad weather coming in. If worse comes to worse my hubby might have to suck it up & become a cat owner! Hee hee hee!!

I better get ready to head to my sisters. I'm glad I had a chance to read posts on a Sunday!

Jamie Lee Curtis is playing in this episode of Navy CIS.....darn....I hope I will be that good looking at 54....yes I know make up and everything....but she looks fine....I love her and Mark Harmon together....they got a great on-screen-chemistry!!!!!

I like her a lot too !! I think she was brilliant in Halloween !!! xo

Good afternoon,

I spent the early part of the day outside mowing, and getting rid of the leaves and putting everything away and took the Halloween decorations down. Did the last remaining of our laundry done. I think we are ready. It is slightly raining out now but no wind, high wind warning and flood watches have been issued to start tomorrow at 6am. I am still planning to go to work for at least a little while tomorrow, school has not been canceled for our town yet, though 11 other towns have already canceled for tomorrow. The look of the latest forecast looks like the brunt of the storm is going to miss most of Massachusetts, but I am still worried for all of you that are going to feel the worst of it. Check that school was just canceled.

Stay safe, you are all in my prayers and thoughts.

You stay safe too, Xmas. I am not really sure how much we are in the path of this storm but I do know they are also saying high winds and wind terrifies me !! xo

good night my friends....been up since 7 am and want to read a bit in bed......The Lord Of The Rings for the third time....actually I had wanted to read the Hobbit before it gets to the theaters...anyhow...Lord Of the Rings...I hope I will be done in a month

A brilliant trilogy both the books and the movies !! My sister and I want to see The Hobbit together in December !! xo

I am going to shut down the computer and relax a bit. I have some paperwork to do, but other than that, I will either read or work on some Christmas crafts. There is a radio program on in a few minutes I want to listen to, too ~ a Halloween special.

We both got word from our offices to use our own discretion as to whether we feel safe going in tomorrow. We'll see what it looks like in the morning. I wouldn't want to go in and get stranded by downed trees or something ... And I wouldn't want Mr. to go in and be stranded if the trains stop running ...
