Is there an app for listening to Music Choice on a tablet? I have an iPad, and I can't find the app, if there is one. Or do you just listen through a browser?

Hi MC,

On Music Choice you have to be a Sprint customer to get the Mobil app, but we stream it from the web. We have a Thrive Tablet not sure if that makes a difference - to listen to Christmas Music I think you need to join, it was free,

here is the link I have in my favorites.

Happy Friday everyone. This year has gone by so fast. I just wish these next 2 months would slow down.

Looking forward to the weekend. 1st round of high school football playoffs start tonight. The whole county will there. Saturday will be leaf raking/blowing day and Sunday is church day. Weather should be nice. Forecast to have highs in mid 50's and lows in mid 30's for the next couple of days. We still have some snow on the mountain tops. The higher elevations got over a foot of snow earlier this week.

Have a blessed weekend.
When I first read this I thought it said, "the whole country will be there". That would be one heck of a high school football game! =)

Have fun at the game!!!

Thanks for the info!
I sometimes listen to Christmas Vinyl on TuneIn on my iPad.
And Merry Christmas Radio, of course!

OMG!!!! Good morning! Today on NBC, I have seen nearly 7 Christmas commercials in just two hours. Not gonna lie, it brought a huge smile to my face! For television and retailers, the season has officially begun. The Costco near me already has their aisle of Christmas decorations up and active. A smile is grazing my face right now!
Hello and welcome to the Countdown!

I love seeing those Christmas commercials too!
I'm working at Bernie's all day tomorrow, so of course it's going to be sunny and 75°. LOL
It will be in the 80's here!!!

Wayne and I will come visit you at Bernies and grab a cup of coffee! =)

That is awesome, or as it is rumored we say in Massachusetts "Wicked awesome!!!"

Hey, I don't live in Massachusetts but I say wicked all the time! I also said y'all all the time before even going to the south for college! I have no idea where I picked any of those up, as my family nor friends ever uttered those words in my youth. =p

Well, the 1st tree is up in our house! I put the Buckeye tree up in the basement! I still have to put the ornaments on, but it's up, lights, garland & topper are on! The worse part is over (dragging it out of the attic & down 2 flights of stairs. Lol) I watched Mickeys Christmas Carol while putting it up & now I'm working on my afghan & watching Prancer Returns. Will be heading to bed shortly. Hope you are all having a great night!!! I'm looking forward to Chrismtas on the Hallmark Channel tomorrow night!!!!

Ahhhh, as a Penn State fan I (very jokingly!) stick my tongue out at your Buckeye tree! =) Hubs' and my ultimate goal, when we move into a bigger house, is to have 3 trees - one with JUST blue and silver ornaments, a Penn State tree, then one with ornaments that don't fit into the other categories! lol In fact, our tree last year couldn't fit all the ornaments onto it, so we are looking for a small-ish silver tree that we can start putting the Penn State ornaments on. The problem is, we can only find big trees or mini trees in silver. =( Nothing in between!!

Now that halloween is over and Bonfire night is almost upon us Christmas is just around the corner
I was meant to be Christmas shopping in London this week but on my 1st night there my purse was stolen so I'm home 4 days early. Luckily I'm going back there in December

I'm so sorry to hear your purse got stolen!! =( =( I hope you are able to recover it somehow!

The temps have been in the mid to upper 80's this week. It will drop some this weekend. Kind of weird to have to run my air conditioner in November. Well, not really, typical Texas weather! (As soon as I finished typing this they just said the same thing on the news about running the AC in November!)

Wayne's (Snow-in-Texas) birthday is this Sunday. We will be celebrating it tomorrow since I work on Sunday. It will be a fun weekend!

I hope you all have a Merry and Blessed Day!!!

HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY, WAYNE!!!!

its snowing!!!!!

YAYYYYY!!! Are you predicted to get a lot of it?

HAPPY FRIDAY, FRIENDS!! Sipping my gingerbread spice tea out of a snowman mug with the electric fireplace going and lsitenign to some Christmas tunes with my favorite little boys... could life get any better?!?

Not really!! Enjoy your day!!! =)

Good morning MMC!!!!

I listened to Music Choice from my Thrive and entered in the switch this morning from Halloween to Christmas it was a magical moment I must admit!!!

Life is still moving forward we continued with the work here at 1 WTC. Water is almost all pumped out.

It is just good to be able to get on-line.

So glad you are able to get online! Do you have power back at your place yet, or a time frame for when you ARE supposed to get it back? Also, you work at 1WTC? Wow...I am jealous! I love NYC and have always wanted to live and work there.

Hello all!! Finally, an update after a week of just insane craziness!!!

Last Friday were our wedding picture retakes, taken by one of my best friends (and ex-Kohl's coworker) Sasha. She had volunteered even before we got our photos from our original photographer back, as she knew how upset we were. We had to re-rent hubs's tux, which was really no big deal, as he had gotten it for free for the actual wedding due to the amount of groomsmen tuxes bought. I got my hair and makeup done by the same friends who did it on the actual day, and neither charged me or allowed me to even think about paying them (which really drives me crazy because they didn't HAVE to do that...but they would then say that we SHOULDN'T have had to redo our pictures...). We then went back to the Yorktowne and were greeted by who is honestly the BEST wedding coordinator I could've ever dreamed of having!! She let us go back up to the roof to take pics, and gave us the entire run of the hotel. Also, I had offhandedly mentioned something about how I had never gotten chocolate covered strawberries the day of the wedding (mainly because I was all over the place and forgot)...15 minutes later, Super Wedding Coordinator comes back with a plate of them, no charge! Seriously, everything we went through on Friday more than made up for the horror of our original photographer. We spent FIVE hours taking pictures with her...thankfully the rain held out...it threatened all day, but nothing! Super amazingly awesome experience!

Afterward, we picked up Sasha's husband and went to the new Buffalo Wild Wings the next town over, where we met some of their friends. It was such a great end to a great night!

Saturday, we joined my parents, hubs's parents, and a bunch of their friends and went on a murder mystery cruise that went around the Baltimore Inner Harbor. It was a lot of fun, the food was AMAZING (filet and crab cakes!), and while I did not guess the correct killer (it always ends up being the most obvious one...I guess I watch too many eps of Law and Order: SVU and am always looking for NOT the obvious one! lol), one of my parents' friends did and ended up winning two free tickets to come back!

Sunday was hubs's grandparents' 60th anniversary party. =) After that, we went to Sasha's, and we picked up our pictures! We have 467 of the most BEAUTIFUL pictures EVER. I seriously wish we could've had her as our photographer on the day of...I can't even imagine how great she could've taken our wedding party and family pictures if she did this well with just us! I will post some here if you'd like!

The rest of the week, I think I kinda mentioned in and around comments. We lost power Monday, cleaned up Tuesday, and I've been trying to work on thank you cards and cleaning the rest of the week. I am looking forward to the weekend...spending time with friends and celebrating my friend Lindsey's birthday Saturday, then one of my bridesmaids Amber is having her first baby shower Sunday. While I might not want children of my own, I certainly do love celebrating other people's babies! More nieces and nephews for hubs and I! =)

Gotta ask this here before I go...is anyone else having trouble with MMC radio skipping? I tried listening earlier and after about 2 minutes, it started skipping excessively and I had to keep refreshing the page. I thought maybe it was something with my computer, but now I am listening to a Christmas station on Pandora and it is just fine. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem? =(

Have a good Friday, everyone!!

There it goes!!!!!!!!!!! The first song is Little Drummer Boy by Perry Como!!!!!!

Perry Como IS Christmas! Perfect!!!

Okay, time for me to call it a night. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!

p.s.- The second song was Frosty the Snowman by Bing Crosby.

Perry & Bing...so sad I wasn't listening!!

Now that halloween is over and Bonfire night is almost upon us Christmas is just around the corner :)
I was meant to be Christmas shopping in London this week but on my 1st night there my purse was stolen so I'm home 4 days early. Luckily I'm going back there in December

Awe! So sorry to hear your purse was stolen! As my Dad would say, "That's a bunch of hooey!" (not sure about the spelling of that...lol) I'm glad you get to go back. Still - a bummer!

HAPPY FRIDAY, FRIENDS!! Sipping my gingerbread spice tea out of a snowman mug with the electric fireplace going and lsitenign to some Christmas tunes with my favorite little boys... could life get any better?!?

Sounds excellent! ENJOY!!! I just got home from work! Ready to turn on some Christmas music & enjoy the day myself! Seems odd to not be packing up to head to the lake. Kinda nice! (but of course I'll miss it!)

its snowing!!!!!

Ahhhhh *jealousy*! ENJOY!

For television and retailers, the season has officially begun. The Costco near me already has their aisle of Christmas decorations up and active. A smile is grazing my face right now!

Isn't it great! I noticed on Halloween night, they started craking out the Christmas commercials! LOVE IT!! Welcome to the countdown!

Oh no! A Penn State fan! Why would you want to ruin a beautiful tree like that?? Ha ha ha! Just kidding! I think it's a great idea! What's not to love about 2 or 3 Christmas trees in a home?! And we can't alll be Buckeye fans! What fun would that be?? Have you tried looking online for a silver tree? I know that's not the same as seeing them in person, but maybe if you can't find one locally... I think my friend got hers from either Menards or Lowes. She made a snowman tree with it last winter & soon she is going to make it a grinch tree. Goodluck!!!

I have been charging our stuff either at work or at the Starbucks by my home LOL!!!. We are getting WiFi for some reason the only thing is we don't know who's it is, it states Unknown ~ I hate "stealing" it but it could even be ours for all we know. It is crazy. We saw crews removing the fallen tree yesterday and when I got home this morning from work the LIPA (utility co.) crew was outside they had a new pole!!! So I am hoping within a few hours maybe!!!! But, when you call them they say between 3 - 7 days. Sounds like a long time but they are working their butts off, some of the crews are working on little to no sleep. They were ready (contrary to what the news will tell you) the manpower is there, materials, it just takes time when it is something on this large of a scale. It is hard because not only do they have to repair, they also have so much debris to remove. I feel for them - the stupid news people are saying the "people" are angry no one I have spoken to is, we all know, just the news hyping it up as usual.

You have been busy...fun busy! Congrats to your hubby's Grandparents! That's great your new pictures turned out so well!! Now I bet you are glad you went ahead & had them re-done! Hopefully you will share a picture or two!! :)

Good afternoon!!! Happy "Christmas movies start on Hallmark Channel tonight" day!!!!

I got home from work around 12:30 & I'm trying to decide what to do first. So many things I should be doing but that all involves work. LOL! I'm thinking about running to Joann Fabrics. They have 25% off your total in store purchase this weekend. I always like checking out their Christmas (and craft) things!!

Hope you are all having a great day!!

LOL!! I guess this is not the time to say that we decided on the navy blue/silver theme for our wedding BECAUSE of Penn State?? hahah! We haven't actually looked online, I think we both want to see it in person first so we know the kind of branches it will have, how full it will be, etc. But we might have to at this point! We haven't tried Lowe's though...did your friend have a full size tree?

I like that idea and blue & silver are so pretty together

Yep, they are two of my favorite colors and also our wedding colors, so they hold a special place in our hearts! <3 I totally understand the plight of all the electrical workers...there was a thing up here on the news that said to give respect to the workers, because while they are trying their hardest to restore your power, they are also people too. That made me look at things in a completely different light. Sometimes we take things like that for granted and forget that they are sometimes really risking their lives to do their jobs. That sucks the news has to say stuff like that. =( I'm really hoping you get power back soon!

You have been busy...fun busy! Congrats to your hubby's Grandparents! That's great your new pictures turned out so well!! Now I bet you are glad you went ahead & had them re-done! Hopefully you will share a picture or two!! :)

I will, as soon as I figure out how to post one that isn't on a webpage! =(

JoAnn's Fabrics is having a sale? WOOOO HOOOO!!! My friends and I were going there next week to buy fleece to make blankets, but I might see if they can go this weekend! I'll do anything for a sale! These are the kinds of blankets we are going to make...of course they are not this exact shape...just a standard blanket...but the edges are what we're going for!

Vsuclaribnl, I am glad you got your wedding pictures taken. It sounds like everything worked out great!

I am having trouble with MCR as well. It has been skipping for me too but I thought it was just my computer messing up. Hopefully we can get this looked into and see what the problem is.

Is anyone else having any issues with MCR?

Okay, now I am getting frustrated...I like to think I know a lot about computers but apparently not! lol

I tried to post two pictures of hubs and I from before our ceremony, but when I put the image into the message, it was HUGE (as in, scrolling straight down you could see one leg huge!). Then I tried to add it as an attachment and it said it was too big. I now have it on a webpage so I've tried both ways of uploading (straight from the computer and through a URL). I looked at the FAQ's and didn't find anything about reducing the size of an image.

Help!!

Her tree is probably a 6' tree - maybe not quite that tall, but it is on the thin side so it seems smaller. I hope you can find one!!!

I made 5 of these (in scarlet & gray) for our friends & each of their 3 kids one year for Christmas b/c they were always fighting over blankets. Lol! They are the greatest most comfy & warm blankets!!! My niece made one for me (also in scarlet & gray....hee hee) - love it!!! Fun to make too!

Yes, Joann has 25% off your total in store purchase. "Blizzard Fleece" (whatever that is) is on sale for 4.99 a yard, regularly 8.99. Here is the "Friends & Family" 25% off link:

Holiday, you are my new best friend! LOL

We were looking for something a little under 6' for the silver tree...maybe around 3 or 4'...I don't even know if something like that freaking exists!! But thank you for the advice!

I will be printing out the JoAnn's coupons...I can't believe how cheap the fleece fabric will be!! I just texted my friend and now she wants to go tomorrow instead of Tuesday (when we were originally gonna go!). How can you not wanna go when things are that cheap! I am almost thinking about making hubs one of those blankets in Yankees fabric (which makes me kinda wanna vomit...but I know he'd like it! Ahhh, sacrifices lol), it would balance out that I'm making a Duke one and he HATES Duke! haha And hey, as long as you didn't stitch OSU into those blankets, I would be okay with scarlet and gray, LOL! <3

I do have a photobucket account...maybe I will try there next! Thank you so much!!

You are welcome!!! cheesy You are a good wife = Yankees! EEK! ;-) I'm hoping my friend wants to go to Joann tonight when she gets off work. She's going to let me know when she gets home! ROAD TRIP!!! :D

Okay I'm gonna try posting these pictures again! These were taken by hubs' aunt before our ceremony! First picture is me with the groomsmen, second is hubs with the bridesmaids. We wanted these pictures but our photographer didn't like the idea...hence his aunt did them while the photographer took a bathroom break! =p

YAY!! I finally figured out how it works, thanks Holiday! One last one for now...I was in love with my bouquet! I told her absolutely NO white, what our theme was (navy blue/silver/peacock), and this is what she came up with! LOVE! <3
