Yay, it's Saturday, and it's cold!!!!! Well, what around here calls cold, anyway. I suspect it would be warmish where I grew up. But it feels nice and seasonal. I think I'll have a nice warm bowl of oatmeal and take my bike out for a ride. Everyone have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning, everyone!
I've been very stressed out lately. I'm a freshman in college and the quarter is coming to and end, and I feel like EVERYTHING is due on tuesday. I've always struggled with math so I'm trying to get everything done and bring my grade up, but it's frustrating when you don't understand the material. I always give up. Hopefully I'll manage to pass.
On the bright side, I'm doing well in my other classes.. and I can't wait to go home for the holidays.

Wow, what a year we had!
On January 1, 2012 this thread was begun and it seems as if I blinked and here we are in the last three days before the start of the Christmas season!
We not only passed last year’s total posts of 3110, we blew it out of the snow and we are not even at the end of the year yet.
As we journey through these last few days before Christmas let us not loose our grip on the joy and excitement that has been building all year.
Let’s sing our songs, decorate our homes and dance for joy as we spread the news that the sprit of Christmas is alive and well!

I feel so strange that Saturday is already gone and I don't know where my time is gone. I just managed to go to the supermarket today. Oh, I got a package from my mum from Lithuania today with some homemade food (my mum's and grandomther's made ones. Yummy!), my mixer (finally I will make my own mayonese, chocolate spread and moose ;p ), some Lithuanian chocolates, sweets and some other sort of Lithuanian food that I really like and missed so much because I cannot find anything similar here, in Scotland. Also, I got a huge bag of nuts brought by my dad straight from one of the Black Sea's resorts and... New mobile phone! Mine is almost done because sometimes it stops working in the middle of my calls and I cannot even delete the messages. I had discussed with my mum and it was great to buy a new phone in the nearest future but Ididn't expect her to buy me a new phone NOW. I was so surprised! ^^ And I already eat a whole jar of my mum's homemade salads. That was yummy! I feel so happy about the package I received because of all these things I got! Sometimes some fresh, homemade food and other lovely stuff is enough to make somebody happy.

hubby has just about finished the outside lights. he still is going to add some trees around the house & a small sleigh, Santa, & Rudolph.
i think i'm gonna put the small tree up in our room tonight. i found this idea on Pinterrest i'm gonna try w/ the dinig room chandelier too.

I've been a little busy. Last night, I attended a team meeting to discuss our season. Afterwards, we had some drinks and celebrated a decent year. It was a good time.
Today, Kim and I went to the Rideau Centre and enjoyed the Christmas decorations. I wish I could say that I have plenty of photos to share, however, there is always way too many people in the mall to take any photos. I still managed to take a few photos elsewhere, though. I will post them to the Blossoms thread as soon as possible.
I experienced my first taste of Christmas today. On our walk home, we had some Candy Cane Hot Chocolate. It was delicious. As for tonight, I think/hope we're staying in. We'll see...

I cannot believe it, but I took a two-hour nap today!!! Last night, we had a great tri-tip dinner at the Elks Lodge. Tonight we have a ham dinner at the Parrish Hall. Pheasant season has opened, and this is how two groups in town make some money on area hunters. The "sauce" tonight is soooo good. I am not a sauce or gravy eater, but I DO eat the raisin sauce that the ladies at the church make. They even gave me the recipe, so any time Hubby wants it, then I can make it right away! I hope you each have a great evening.

Good Evening Everyone!!!! It was a beautiful day here but I've been stuck on this chair with my niece on my lap all day. The day after her surgery she was up and playing but the last 2 days all she has wanted to do was lay around. I finally convinced her to let me get on the computer for a few minutes. I did a quick scan of the posts but I didn't get a chance to read all of them. I'll try to get caught up tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Greetings and salutations everyone ! 66 degrees here and a number of people in the area have taken advantage of the weather to start putting up Christmas lights. I’m waiting until later to see if anyone will switch them on. I, on the other hand, will not be putting up anything just yet. I’m off my feet, temporarily. So I hope to start mine next week. Which for me is very late. I alternate Christmas decor each year. I have white miniature lights, colored miniature, the old big colored C9 bulb sets and colored LED lights. This year is LED.s year to shine.
Mrs.Eagle just got home from grocery shopping so I better go and attempt to help.
