There are no words that can make you feel better. I was there before when my first husband told me two weeks before our third child was born that he didn't want to be married anymore. Time is the healer, but, it takes time. I know that doesn't help. Thinking of you.

Found out db has been cheating on me for quite a while... When things look up, something comes crashing down. I have never been so hurt in my entire life. Not to mention myself and his other lady friend used to be quite close...

I know what you are going through. The pain will go away. Try to not let it ruin your holidays though. Get out there with your other friends and have fun. You never know, you may find someone even better while your out there.


In the mean time though, if you want to share his address, maybe we can get Christmasstar to send him an exploding cake.

my baby girl is home sick today. she woke me around 1:30 last night saying she felt nauseated so i got up & got her some meds & put her to bed again. after reading this previous sentence, i realized it sounds like she's very young (she's 16) but she's still my baby! i think she has been able to sleep since then but she will stay home today.

I hope she feels better soon!!!!

Getting ready to hit the road for radiation. Then it will be back home to work on some cards for a presentation on Sunday. I am going to scrapbook some cards, put in a slip of paper with the answer to a question and then another question. It is called I Have, Who Has. For example, I might say, What time is it at 1300? Whoever has the correct answer on their slip of paper would say, I have 1 p.m. Who has What is the name of Roy Roger's nephew's horse? This would go on until all the questions have been answered. All of the questions relate to Elks charities. I have 30 questions, so that means I have 30 cards to make! TTYL

Happy Friday! It is so hard to believe this is the last Friday before Thanksgiving!! How did that happen?! We have a busy weekend ahead - tree decorating tonight (hubby is going to a guys night, fish fry, cards...) tomorrow we have our neighbors wedding & Sunday is my hubby's Dads family's Thanksgiving for lunch. There is also a Christmas open house I would like to stop in on Sunday at Ben Franklin - 20% off your total purchase! And we are also supposed to go to our lake neighbors house (hour south of here) to pick up a bar sign being donated to a benefit/auction for a lady here who has a very bad cancer. There is also a 5k Sunday morning I would like to do, I just need more hours in my Sunday! :lol:

Don't forget ABC Families Christmas movies start on Sunday!! Have a great day!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! The sun is out and shining here in central Indy where we currently stand at 40 degree's. It looks like it should be a pretty nice weekend with highs in the mid 50's. Most of my weekend was supposed to be devoted to the Nascar season ending races and Christmas but it looks like I'll have to spend all day tomorrow at my sisters. My mom was supposed to help my niece's kids birthday party tomorrow afternoon but she has bronchitis, so I get to help now. Then after the kids party we are having the family party. So it's going to be an all day event. I refuse to do anything on Sunday though. I have to watch the last nascar race of the year. Plus the Colts are playing the Patriots and that should really provide some insight into how good this team really is. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife is away for a ladies Bible conference all weekend so my son and I are on our own. Our high school was eliminated from the state football playoffs last week but a neighboring county is still in it so we will probably go watch their game tonight. Not sure what we will do Saturday. My son would like to make the 1.5 hour drive and go to the shopping mall. We may do that and make a day of it.

I just got an urgent call from Carl, He can't believe that hostess is closing. He's going to try to buy the Twinkie formula from them but to hold the Pines over, he's asking for everyone to run to their grocery stores and buy as many twinkies as you can!!!! He will gladly reimburse you.
