Morning all. quite chilly here this morning, just got back from taking the girls to school so its a quick coffee and browse through the forums before getting cracked on with todays jobs!!

We all sat and watched home alone last night, what a lovely way to spend a sunday evening all snuggled up watching a good film!!!

Damp cold and miserable. And that's just me. The weather is shocking too. I'm not a Monday fan but at least it only gets better from here on. The town centre Christmas lights were on this morning when I was coming into work. That cheered me up a bit. Have a good day people.

Our first full week of Christmas Season 2012 has begun!

Days to Christmas Day: 36 (Five weeks from tomorrow!)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 3 (Under HALF a week, now!)
(So close, I can almost see Santa passing by in the parade!)

Still a bit chilly here yesterday but there was sun and no rain.
Should be a fairly nice one today, albeit with some chance of rain.
We are at 49 degrees here, right now.

Sugar- Praying for your DH. Also thanking him for doing such a very hard, dangerous and emotionally draining job. I am so very sad about the little 3-year-old. I cant remember if you mentioned if the baby was a boy or girl but no matter, in my belief he/she is now with the very author of Life and has nothing to fear.

I agree with Xmas - I have a few choice names for the jerk who caused the fire. INHO ANYONE who hurts a child or a furkid (the same to me) not only has three strikes but is out for the whole ball game. Grrrrrr

Good Morning MMC!!!!! We are off to a chilly start but it's going to warm up and be a beautiful day here in central Indy. I'm going to be heading to my sisters house here in a few minutes. My niece is having a Rock Star party so I have to help lay down the red carpet on the driveway and then I have to hang the pinata. It should be an interesting day. My sister got my niece a kids drum set as part of her gift. So I see a headache in my future. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Elizabeth's first Nutcracker performance was last night, and it was BRILLIANT!! She had the best time, and has already been talking to the people who manage the show about a larger part next year...LOL!

I'm so glad to hear everything went well! Congrats to Elizabeth!

Good morning everyone,

It was a busy weekend for me. My dad arrived in town Thursday evening. We didn't do anything special but had a good time. The Packers did their best to keep us on the edge of our seats and screaming at the TV yesterday, but they managed to pull it out in the end. I think that helped complete the weekend. Now, he driving back home to Sault Ste. Marie. The good part is that I will see him in just over a month. Hard to believe that I will be flying home for Christmas in a month and a day from today. Wonderful. Until then, I will continue to enjoy the sights, sounds and magic of the Christmas Season.

On Thursday night my Blackberry decided to stop functioning properly. Somehow, my screen had two thick white lines going through it. I phoned my provider on Friday and they gave me quite an awesome deal for a new phone. They actually offered to pay my phone bill for this month even though I wasn't under warranty. It was the perfect trade off because that covered the price of the new phone ($48). Really, I only spent $2 to make the switch/upgrade my phone. Although I enjoyed it, I went from Blackberry to a Samsung Galaxy Ace. We'll see how long this thing lasts!

We went to Bayshore Shopping Centre on Saturday. I managed to take a few pictures. Not as many as I usually do, however. There were so many people! I'll post them very soon. It was real nice to see all the festive decorations and products. I finally purchased a Christmas Countdown. Although it's not electronic, it will do! Perhaps we will find another next year. Yesterday, we just stayed in to watch football. It was nice to unwind.

Oh, it was also one of my good friend's 29th birthday on Saturday night. Let's just say we had a lot of great fun. Kim and I didn't return home until 3 AM.... Thankfully, he only lives a street over and about two blocks down.

As for today, it should be real busy. Work seems to be going OK, but I have to do a bunch of things. After work, I have the gym, dinner, and studying! I have a very important job interview tomorrow. Studying is quite necessary. We'll see how it goes!

I hope to have the opportunity to respond to some posts later. Keep enjoying the Christmas Season, everyone! The first official week is almost complete. Let's keep making it magical. Merry Christmas.
