For the first time in years I'm hosting family for Thanksgiving. I live in Illinois and have no other family here so it's rare that I get visitors for holidays. They will all be coming from out of state. It's been a very busy last few days but it will all be worth it. I'm so excited!

Today is Elizabeth's 12th birthday! It's also Nancy and my 18th anniversary! The whole family is coming over for Elizabeth's party tonight, then the whole family is coming over tomorrow night for our annual night before Thanksgiving supper. Lots of eating going on in Bellville this week!

Long day today, finally sat down about 45 minutes ago. I got home and had to make some finger sandwiches for my sons daycare Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow, then made my wife her dinner since she is not a fan of fried chicken and I picked that up for the boys and I. My wife had meetings tonight and quickly ran to see our friends new baby.
Kmart is starting their Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale tomorrow since it is illegal to be open on Thanksgiving day in Massachusetts (thank God for the old Blue Laws) I have a few things to pick up first thing in the a.m.

Good evening, Christmas family

I went to bed at 9 tonight because I am so exhausted then I couldn't sleep. So.......I am up again. I have the Hallmark channel on, I think the movie, Christmas Song, is on. What does everyone think of the movies for 2012 so far on Hallmark ?? They are okay to me, but not quite as good in years past. Of course, we haven't seen them all yet. Soon, hopefully there will be Christmas on all the channels. I agree with Xmas though, I wish there were a Christmas station 24/7 365 days a year on TV !!

All my kids are asleep..Hermione, or as I call her 'Mione is asleep up against me. Wish is under a blanket on the couch, Clancy has the loveseat all to herself. As per usual I am not sure where the kittes are .........They are skulking about somewhere though. It is only 11 days until my annual trip to my dear sister's house to decorate. I cannot believe how quickly time is flying.

Work is a little scary right now. Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, the dictation is getting scarce due to doctors taking vacation, etc. I have been through this a gazillion times before. It will be okay but it is rather stressful not knowing if there will be enough work.....Hopefully next week all will be back to normal for a little while.

did a quick read through, got home early tonight because I think I had maybe 6 customers all night! Plus the new guy is an awesome worker and had so much done when I came it there was not a lot to do.

Days to Christmas Day: 34 (Under five weeks off, now!)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 1 (That would be TOMORROW, Folks!)
Yes, indeed!
But my oh my, hasn't Thanksgiving come back around so fast!

Well, no matter. Carl is ready for all pre-Thanksgiving feasters who might come by the inn for today's Holiday Open House.
No, you don't want to miss this extravaganza, Friends.
The food!
The decorations!
The music!
......THE DOOR PRIZE!

It keeps getting gradually warmer here day by day. We could be in the 60's tomorrow and Friday. No rain predicted, either.
Looks like a nice Thanksgiving day is in the works!
Currently, our thermometer reads 41 degrees here in the capital city.
