My Bengals won again, Made, I saw that the Colts had a great comeback, I was pulling against them and the Steelers for the Bengals wild card hopes. I am heading to bed I feel lousy. We watched Christmas movies and shows all day, Christmas With the Kranks, Fred Claus, Yes, Virginia, and a few others were the ones.

Mr. is raffling off a leg lamp at his December film show tomorrow night. Should be a big hit!


Up early tomorrow in spite of my day off, because of my annual physical exam. Then Tuesday looks like it's going to be a nasty day at the office. I'm already dreading the end of my extended weekend.


Thank you for all the compliments on the tree. I hadn't strung lights on a tree since ... maybe 1990 or so, so I was nervous about how it would look. Then I didn't have as much garland as I thought, so I used two different styles.


Thank you also for the compliments on the afghan. It took a number of weeks to complete it. Hoping it will find a buyer so the money can go to Santa's Sleigh.

I have a small leg lamp as my nightstand lamp, it was an agreement we made, I don't put it in the window I get to keep it out all year long as my reading lamp.

watched some really good Christmas movies today. "A Dog Named Christmas" & now i'm watching "Finding Mrs. Claus". i DO NOT like the 1's w/ sad endings & will skip them every time. the other day i watched the 1 w/ Joey Lawrence in it. unfortunately i fell asleep before the end. the movie was good, i was just way to tired. i watched "Naughty or Nice", it was good too.

Very comfortable here yesterday, and we completed nearly all of our Christmas decorating!
It should actually be in the 70's today and tomorrow before somewhat cooler weather returns for Wednesday along with a chance of rain.
Currently, we have a balmy 56 degrees here in the capital city.

Good a.m. My MC peeps! how's it this morning?

on my way back from dropping daughter off @ school i think i'm gonna stop by the grocery store & get a few things i need for baking & try to get on it when i get home.

i have a couple of packages coming today so i'll have to be especially careful when i let the dogs out to go potty. my Daisy runs straight to any vehicle coming up the drive, most know to stop & let her in because she just wants to ride up the driveway w/ them but the delivery trucks certainly don't do that. i always go out w/ her anyway, she's so small & will get into anything. Maggie will stop when you tell her to but Mickey & Diva don't listen @ all & will run off or chase the drivers up the driveway.

all of Maggie's tennis balls are now in the pool & we can't get to them & she was lost w/out anything to play w/. my son was going to his car after class 1 day & found a tennis ball in the parking lot so he brought it home. Maggie is a happy pup once again. i think i know what may be in her stocking Christmas morning......

Good morning everyone! I am off work today because I have A dr,Appt at 9 am kind of a check up from the surgery I had in late October...what fun this should be!!!!! anyhow me and brandi are planning a vacation sometime this winter in northern Wv or extreme western Md at wisp ski resort we are just kind of waiting for a snowstorm to come...it looks like it would be late December or January at this point...my mom is staying here this whole month and heck maybe next month too.but I am glad she has had a rough year losing my dad so it helpe her be around her grandkids and favorite son! HAve a great day everyone!

I helped my mother-in-law put up her Christmas tree yesterday while she and my wife wrapped presents. Only 23 days left!

Another night of running the air conditioner. I am ready to do some baking for Christmas but waiting for a cold day to do so. Just too warm to have the oven going all day. Hopefully some cold weather will be here soon!

Got another busy week and next weekend is full of plans. This is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!! :???:
