The move is coming along pretty well, Thanks for asking. We are at a point where it's hard to pack the things that you'll be needing on a daily basis, but there are some closets that we can start on. We were planning on trading in our car and truck on Saturday, then the truck broke down last night... And so that fun begins, LOL!

I saw you talking about your brown sugar being in and testing it out on some ham… I would be happy to come and help you try it out :-)

I didn't put my whole village out, it takes 2 days to do so. I just put out a few pieces. My cat was just so curious, jumped up on the table and walked through the whole village sniffing each piece. I just let him go for it because once he can sniff everything, he is done. He was very careful and only knocked over a couple of pieces, nothing broke! I should have taken a video of it then add some crashing sounds to it!!!

Not my kitty here. (No one was hurt during the making of this picture). :wink:

Will is, of course, taking this very hard. thanks y'all!

Good evening, everyone! How are you all? Happy Pines Day! I hope you all have been having a great!

Nothing new going on here. I am sitting here watching Hallmark - we just got done watch "Elf" and I am also enjoying a cup coffee and I think I'll read some before getting ready for work. I slept a little longer than I usually do today (which was really nice), so I doubt I'll lay down tonight.

What is new in all of your neck of the woods? I got my exchange ornament! Thanks Christmasstar! It will always make me think of you and thanks for being a special friend! :-D

Tomorrow, we will be celebrating St. Nicholas Day here at my house. We never have before, but thought we would start this year and continue on every year. We are Catholic, so of course the Saints mean a lot to us and St. Nicholas does as well, we just never really celebrated it in our home. We are going to have the children put their shoes out tonight and then they will each get a gift - my kids are getting the stuffed "Elf on the Shelf", that way the both have one. EA will get the girl and DS the boy. I will throw a piece of candy in there too.

Well, I am going to go read some and continue to watch Hallmark. I can't believe we are 20 days away! This is just crazy. I am getting so excited! God Bless and talk to you guys soon!

Following work yesterday, I had my ultrasound. From what I can tell, my results weren't the greatest, but at least I have an idea of what to expect. I made an appointment to view the result with my doctor next Tuesday. He's out of the office until then. Anyway, my understanding is that I may have torn my meniscus. It will probably require surgery. I am very hopeful that I can have the surgery by February, but we shall see. It's disappointing, but at least my knee issue is finally being diagnosed.

It's one of the many things she is on. She takes 5 pills every Friday night. She was on the shots until they started having problems getting them this summer. My sister said to tell you to take Folic Acid with it. It really helps keep the side effects under control. You can buy it over the counter but it's cheaper if you can get a prescription.
