Hope you all doing good ii know by reading the post that some of you are not 100 % hope that gets sorted
Sorry i have not been on as much as i wood lke to but i have been so busy all ii do is work and sleep . been trying to decorate inside and pallets everyday am really behind with shoppng and everthing
I miss you all and hope you all have that christmas feeling i am not sure i think am just gong with the flow at the moment , but at least this weekend will finish the decor and might have a biit of time for my friends,
The shop is so busy i even have to bring pallets in this morning
Anyway that my rant over i really do hope your all good
I hope to get my cards done this weekend as tuesday is the last posting day so that is a must

Morning and a happy weekend to you all. I've finished as much decorating as I can do this year. Hopeful I will be better prepared next year when we are a little more settled into our house. I've got our office party tonight which should get me in the Christmas mood although I've a cold that is clinging on ggrrr. Hope everyone is feeling festive!

Yes, another Weekend has arrived.
So few left until Christmas.

Our Christmas Day count.
Behold:
Days to Christmas Day: 17 (Under 2 1/2 weeks left, now.)
(Holy Mistletoe, Batman!)

Very pleasant here yesterday, with moderate temps and only a bare sprinkle of rain.
Should be into the 70's for today and/or tomorrow as we are looking forward to a nice, sunny weekend.
Our thermometer currently shows 51 degrees here in the capital city.

Had a terrible night...
Isak is sick again, and have been throwing up all night.
We change our bed sheets three times.
And he have been taking three baths..poor little guy.
Now he is laying on the sofa playing Minecraft on the Ipod.
On the one sofa we covered, because he just threw up
on one of the other... (good we have three!)

Yay!.. Guess things can only get better from here:grin:

So how is everyone here?
It's so busy this time of year... but i love it!
Best time!

Last night we finished this years gingerbread house:



I did make one glutenfree also, but it would not work with me.
Maybe I have to try again...

One more thing, please keep in your thoughts an prayers a co-worker of mine and her family. Their house burned down last night, they lost everything. No one was injured, but the event was very traumatic. People are helping them where they can, it has been an amazing show of support in the 24 hours since the fire.

will remember them for sure. Our house burned when my kids were still small, my son only 18 months old. I remember how aweful it was.

The fun is Just beginning for us-Adrian is now sick too, and I am still trying to get over my cold from Thanksgiving time.

I hope you get some sleep tonight!! If you are bored tomorrow, you can come help us make cookies. The kids can play with my niece's. (you might want to bring surgical masks so you don't get sick)

I'll be over! What time are you starting to bake? I should start today as well. My next weekend off isn't until the weekend before Christmas and we are so busy that weekend and will be away most of the weekend, but I just feel like doing what I HAVE to do and relaxing with the kids. I hope you guys start feeling better soon - they say the strain of the cold/flu that is going around right now is bad. Thinking about you!

Did The Santa Clause really come out 18 years ago?? It seems like just yesterday.

It does seem like just yesterday, but I will be 30 in 3 years and the #3 has been out for a few years now, so it's been for quite some time - I know I was little when it came out. I just didn't realize it was that long ago either!

My dad has been calling me everyday to update me on all the Hallmark Christmas movies. He is watching way more than I am! He is really enjoying them and I am so glad. I know it's been hard since his brother (my uncle) has passed away and every year we went to his house on Christmas Eve. I am happy to see my dad still has the Christmas Spirit, even though it will be different this year.

Also, please keep my dad in prayer. I hate bringing this type of news to the Countdown but he got a report from the doctor yesterday about his blood count regarding Waldenstrom disease that he has suffered for 10 years. (A mild form of leukemia) and it didn't look as good as it has in the past. The good news is he still don't have to do chemo. They want to see him back in 3 months and I pray that his blood count will improve!!! Reminding myself: PRAY AND THINK POSITIVE THOUGHTS!

We be continuing to think of you and your family! I know how hard it will be for your family this Christmas - I think it's always a little harder at Christmas for anyone and so I will say extra prayers for you! As for your dad, I am glad he's enjoying the Christmas season - that's great to hear.

I will pray for your dad - I hope he continues to get good news on blood count. Keep us updated!

After a lot of consideration, listening to everyone's thoughts, I decided I just could not go through with the methotrex**te. So I called my doctor and just explained the situation. They were pretty okay with it. The doctor's office called back later yesterday afternoon and said she would prescribe something else. I am not even going to READ about it !! I am going to do as I am advised if I can and take one pill a day and see what happens and hope that whatever side effects this one has I will be able to tolerate them !!

I hope you're new pill helps!
