Good morning, MMC!
How are you all doing? I feel like it should be the weekend since I am finally on Christmas break!
As of last night, on top of my prayers for everyone, I added in that nobody is sick for Christmas Eve/Christmas and that your families are healthy, too! I hate to see anyone sick this time of year, especially since you are all just as much of Christmas lovers as me. I hope your families are healthy too and that you can all enjoy the holiday together.
Of course, my dad has been sick for about a week now. He doesn't have what took me forever to get over, but he does have a horrible cough. I woke up this morning and my throat is a little sore and very scratchy. It hasn't felt right since I have been sick, so I really hope that I am not coming down with that again and that this is just a fluke. I was sick for over two weeks! If I would get sick then I would definitely have it for Christmas Eve and Christmas.
On a better note, I am so glad to finally be on Christmas break. I don't know my grades yet, but I busted my behind this semester so I am hoping I did really well. Since I am on break, I finally started Christmas baking yesterday, yay!
We are supposed to get some snow later today throw Saturday. I have been hearing random amounts from between 2 and 6 inches. Then, the day after Christmas, we are supposed to get a snowstorm that brings 4 to 8 inches of snow. Is it so hard to give me snow on Christmas Eve?! I always wanted to wake up to it snowing heavily and a blanket of snow on the ground. Leave it to me to have snow right before and after Christmas!!
I have a lot to do today. I have to run around and get all of the grocery items for Christmas Eve and Christmas. The stores should already be packed enough because of the holidays, but now I imagine it'll be worse than Black Friday crowds since we are supposed to get snow. People around here go crazy when they think we are going to get even a couple of inches of snow.
I will check in later with everyone. I hope you're all doing well! I cannot believe there are only FIVE days until Christmas! Where has the time gone!?
