I like Darlene Love a lot and am curious what lovemas is.

Lovemas, If I am correct is a Holiday started by our own Binger who LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Ms. Darlene Love. She always appears on Late Night with David Letterman right before Christmas and tonight is "Lovemas" !! xo

I always loved the last day of school prior to Christmas. So exciting!

I think I need to teach the maintenance staff for my apartments how to clean off a sidewalk. There are two guys walking around about 5 feet apart. The first one is throwing salt down on top of the inch and a half of snow that we got. Then the second one has a shovel clearing all of the snow off of the layer of ice that is underneath it. Since the salt was on top of the snow though, he's also taking the salt off. So now all of the sidewalks are just covered in ice. Well all of them expect mine. I learned a long time ago that I should do my own.

sounds like our super...he will wait a few days until the snow is hard packed then try to use the snow blower to get it off. Next storm comes along and he tells us the machine is broken and it will not get done at all.

Woke up to the world still in place! It is cold and rainy, about 40 degrees or so. I plan to be here tonight for Lovemas. I was supposed to go to Chico this afternoon, but I won't go until tomorrow morning. I need to pick up some scrapbooking stuff (tools), have lunch, and give my friend her Christmas gifts. Tonight, we plan on KFC and all the trimmings and with homemade pinto beans. It is naptime, so TTYL.
