Merry Christmas, everyone! I'm here at work, after a nice morning with the family unwrapping presents and eating homemade cherry kuchen. I'm basically just listening to holiday music and relaxing right now, but I'm here if I'm needed. So I have time to wish all a joyous and blessed Christmas day and season!

I ended up ordering both versions of A Christmas Memory, the Stage 67 one and the Patty Duke one. I also ordered The Complete Stories of Truman Capote. I really like Breakfast at Tiffany's. I read In Cold Blood when it first came out in the 60s. I was scared for a LONG time after that.

Much the same here--we're getting rain off and on, though. Oh well, I've gotten to like California's Wet Christmases--especially if I'm inside with a nice cup of hot chocolate or tea.
And to you! I really wasn't familiar with it either, but the recipe sounded delicious and festive (and it was!) It was kind of like a coffee cake, but the texture was a little different. That was the base, then it was topped with cherry pie filling, and that was topped by a struesel crumb topping.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!! I am looking out at the rain with a cuppa chamomile tea and thinking about what a wonderful day this is. I hope each and every one of you has a blessed and beautiful Christmas day and every day!!:treeguy:
