Now that is exciting!
The Mrs. was up and talking last night and said she felt fine, but I think that was the pain medicine talking. I looked at her this morning while sleeping and the swelling is still minimal, but they said that the "real" swelling wouldn't start until tomorrow or Monday. But she is doing better and I truly appreciate the concern and wishes that everybody has thrown our way!

Hope the pain is not to bad and shes coping

This past December 27th was my wife's (CAH) and my 9th anniversary of being together. Not wedding anniversary, just being together as a couple. It has flown by, but it has been the best 9 years of my life. Happy Anniversary sweetie!!!

I have said this before and will say it again we all no you love this lady loads. your a star. how long have you been married ?

We had a great day at my grandparents Christmas celebration, there was 4 generations of my family there. It was so nice to see everyone. The drive home was treacherous the snow started coming down around 3, and when we left there was 5-6 inches on the ground so we took the long way around instead of going over the mountain. I love seeing my grandparents Christmas decorations, there is so much history in the decorations and ornaments, the ornaments she hand painted, and of course her huge Santa Claus collection. LC loved the ornaments, he is so much like me when it comes to Christmas, I walked him around pointing out some of the ornaments and he had to touch them and he was in awe.I will be shoveling out tomorrow.Have a great night!!!

We drove only a few hours and are too tired to keep going. We are in Kingman, AZ for the night.

Harlowe is so anxious, and not doing so well. The Sedatives make her sleepy, but she won't sleep

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm at Bernie's store again, having cooked breakfast and brewed coffee, I finally get to sit down with a cuppa my own. Ahhh!

It rained cats & dogs last night, and had me up most of the evening. Tired now, I tell ya.

We would have a blast! He keeps me laughing and always have. You should have seen him and his brother together (my uncle who passed away recently), they were so much fun to be around.

4 to 8 inches of snow forecast later today. I think we'll stay in and fix spaghetti for lunch. It'll be a good day for movies! Can the Lear fly safely in the snow? You folks who have been wanting snow can come in and watch the snowfall and movies!

Gotta go now and get some things done around the house so I can come back here later and relax. Hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend! I've really been enjoying the conversation here.

Well, it's a quiet morning...I've still got the Christmas tree lights on, the fire is going, and everything else is off...I love doing this during the season...it's so relaxing...

I'm about to get up and get in the shower...we've got a ballgame at 10:30, so I'm going to go....I will see everyone later today!

I think this Christmas went to fast...

I did some shopping for Christmas 2013 today.
I have a big box (marked Chrsitmas 2013) I want to fill with Christmas stuff all through the year.
Already I have some Christmas cards there, gingerbread house (!)
and a few calendar gifts.. Can't wait to fill it up!

We are soon having Pinnekjøtt for dinner cheesy

When I was a teenager, I loved to do that: sit in the den with only the Christmas lights on and a stack of records on the record player. You do know what a record player is, don't you?

Christmas in a Jar was fabulous! I toasted some San Luis Obispo sourdough bread and spread on some butter and the jam. Heavenly! The ingredients are listed on the jar: organic sugarplums, citrus, and spices. It is made in small batches and only at Christmas. The overall, but not overpowering, spice is clove. wow...that is so sweet to find a tape like that....I know I´d be crying!!!

I still have the reel to reel tape where Santa Claus is talking to my mother !!! I also have the Christmas morning following that when I was 7 or 8 years old.....I just dont have a reel to reel xo:-?

She is getting better, seems it was the meds she was on that was causing the problems. She was having a strange reaction to them. Has been off of them now for a couple of days and feeling much better.

Come on along! There's about 4 or 5 inches of snow out there, and it's still coming down! We just got finished watching the second Thin Man movie and the 1938 Christmas Carol.
