Christmas Countdown - 2013

Well my sister finally heard back about the official results of my niece's echo cardiogram. The tech was right. She has 2 murmur's and a secundum atrial septal defect. So basically there is a hole between the upper 2 chambers of her heart and there is blood going back and forth between the 2 chambers. They got her into the cardiologist Friday afternoon to see what the next step is.

Bless her heart. Praying for her and your family.

Hoping and praying that this is not a serious or dangerous condition.

During lunch, I was surfing the news and such and thought I would just check up on a whim, for some local related events for something to do this coming weekend and look what I came across:

For the 30th season visitors from near and far will discover the joys of shopping at Maryland's premier Christmas event. The Maryland Christmas Show, located in historic Frederick City, brings together many fine artisans and merchants to make your holiday shopping an enjoyable event.

The show offers seven buildings and big top tents. You'll enjoy the works of top artists and craftsmen offering fine art, pottery, furniture, jewelry, clothing, wreaths and garlands, toys and Christmas ornaments - just about anything related to your Christmas shopping enjoyment. Not all of the same exhibitors participate in both weekends.

The Maryland Christmas Show makes shopping fun for everyone from gram to grandchild. So don't forget, we're a two weekend event. Wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing as you'll be moving between seven buildings and the Christmas big top tent.

Gather your favorite group together and join us as we celebrate the holiday season.

Oh I just love it when Christmas all of a sudden pops up and make you realize that's it only just around the corner....:-D

My boss just came to me and asked me if I wanted to go to an outdoor seminar (under a tent) at a place called Andy Nelson's from 3-5 on the 29th. Hmmmm, that's a tough question; let me get this straight, free pit beef, turkey, ham, barbecue, corn bread, sides, etc... while being paid/ on the clock, on a Wednesday afternoon, hmmmmm decisions, decisions, decisions....
Well duhhhhhh!!!!! OH YES!!!! Where do I sign????:thumbsup:

Hmmmm, I forgot to ask "what's the catch?" :-? or maybe, "what does he want????"

I showed her to Kandice.....she is in love......and she has two name proposals as well!!! The first is Emma......we know a black pug named Emma.........and the second is "Tiana".....like in "The Princess and the Frog"....Princess Tiana.....the way she´s chilling on the couch....looks like a princess

This is a first, they actually cancelled my grandson's after school program due to the weather. They have NEVER done this for a tornado watch. I guess that storm that hit yesterday has everyone fearful. I am glad they are cancelling it!

What's going on with all of this severe weather? Is this normal? I can't even watch the news, it is so upsetting. I don't know, it seems like it gets worse and worse and happens more often :sad:
